Mana is the resource of some champions necessary to cast most of his/her abilities. The mana pool is represented by a blue bar below the green health bar and two numbers ( # / # ) in the middle of it. The first one is your current amount of mana and the second refers to the maximum amount you can store. Mana regenerates over time and this rate can be increased with masteries and items.
At level 18, the base mana pool ranges from
659 to 1454.The most mana any champion can get is 7621.765, adding all mana per level runes, masteries, level 18

Ways to restore mana[]
A champion's mana can be restored in several ways:
- Mana regeneration
- Using a .
- Returning to the spawning pool, which restores a percentage of your maximum mana per second.
- Having the buff, which can be obtained by slaying the or by slaying an enemy champion that has the buff.
- Having buff, which is obtained by slaying .
- The passive effect of and restores 200 mana over 8 seconds when leveling up.
- Using Clarity.
- Slaying a monster that has Healing Sigil ( , and ), which restores 30 mana.
- Obtaining kill or assist when possessing will restores 12% of your maximum mana.
- Picking up a Health Relic on the Crystal Scar or Proving Grounds.
Abilities which restore mana[]
- refunds the mana cost if it kills the target.

- restores 20 / 27 / 34 / 41 / 48 mana per kill when turned off.
- restores 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 mana for each melee attack he performs and three times as much against enemy champions.
- restores 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 mana per enemy unit that dies while having this ability on them.
- restores 150 mana (net gain of 75 mana) whenever it successfully blocks an ability.
- restores 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 mana to an allied unit.
- restores 9 + (1 × level) mana per kill.
- replenishes his mana for 7.5% of damage dealt by his autoattacks.
- will restore 65% of the damage dealt with a "Blue Card" as mana.

- refunds half of its mana cost (25 / 37.5 / 40 / 42.5 / 45) if he fails to fire after four seconds of channeling the ability.
Ways to increase maximum mana[]
Several items and runes can increase the total mana of a champion. This statistic scales additively, which means that each bonus point acquired is directly added to the mana pool.

- +350 mana, +300 health, +50 ability power. Unique Passive: Your spells burn for an additional 5% of the target's maximum Health in magic damage over 3 seconds (effect halved for AoE and and damage over time). 2890 gold. :
- +325 mana, +290 health. Unique passive: Upon leveling up restores 250 health and 200 mana over 8 seconds. 1325 gold. :
- +500 mana, +99 armor. Unique passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 20% and reduces the attack speed of nearby enemies by 20%. 2775 gold. :
- +425 mana, +45 armor, Unique passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 15%. 1525 gold. :
- +350 mana, +80 ability power, +30 magic resistance, +7% movement speed. Unique passive: 100% chance when an ability is used that your next physical attack deals an additional 100% of your ability power in damage. This effect has a 3 second cooldown 3470 gold. :
- +350 mana, +7 mana regeneration per 5, +20 damage. Unique passive: 2% of your maximum mana is converted to Attack Damage. Unique passive: Each time you attack, you gain one maximum mana (3 second cooldown). Each time you use an ability, you gain four maximum mana (3 second cooldown). Bonus caps at 1000 mana. 2110 gold. :
- +350 mana, +350 health, +50 magic resistance. Unique passive : Reduces and stores 10% of magic damage dealt to your champion. Unique active: Deals 200 + (Stored magic damage)[Max: 400] to nearby enemy units. 90 second cooldown. 2715 gold. :
- +525 mana, +450 health, +60 ability power. Passive: Your Champion gains 18 health, 20 mana, and 2 ability power every 1 min. Bonuses cap at +180 health, +200 mana, and +20 ability power. Unique passive: Upon leveling up, restores 250 health and 200 mana upon over 8 seconds. 3035 gold. :
- +200 mana. 400 gold. :
- +250 mana, +25 ability power, Unique passive: 100% chance when an ability is used that your next physical attack deals 100% extra base damage. This effect has a 3 second cooldown. 1260 gold. :
- +350 mana, +7 mana regeneration per 5. Unique passive: Each time your Champion uses an ability their maximum mana will increase by 4 mana, up to a maximum of twice in a six second period; bonus caps at +1000 Mana. 995 gold. :
- +250 mana, +30 attack damage, +30 ability power, +30% attack speed, +15% critical chance, +12% movement speed, +250 health. Unique passive: 25% chance on hit to slow the target by 35% (25% for ranged attacks) for 2.5 seconds; on cast, increases your base attack damage by 150% for one attack. 4070 gold. :
