- Yone and Dawnbringer Yone are voiced by Noshir Dalal, who also voices 6 Yone, Windchaser in Legends of Runeterra.[1]
- Yone's Japanese voice actor is Atsushi Miyauchi.[2]
- Yone started out as a background character to Yasuo's story.
- Yone was pitched because it was thought that it was cool that he used two swords in Legends of Runeterra.[3]
- Yone has a similar core playstyle to Yasuo due to their shared training.[4]
- Yone was originally supposed to be an "echo fighter" version of Yasuo, with the intention of lowering Yasuo's pick rate given that he had the highest in the game, and increase champion diversity for his mains.[5]
- Yone's passive Way of the Hunter and Q ability Mortal Steel have similar names to Yasuo's Way of the Wanderer and Steel Tempest respectively. Fate Sealed and Last Breath also have similar implication in terms of meaning.
- Mortal Steel is inspired by Yasuo's Steel Tempest's gameplay and is dedicated to his mortal side.

Universe

- Yone and Yasuo both studied under the same master and know how to draw power from the wind, but only Yasuo knows the full secrets of the technique.[12]
- They are now the only remaining members of the school, likely due to the rest having all been killed by Yasuo when pursuing him.

- When Yone entered the spirit realm in death, he was attacked by an azakana, a demon that feeds off of negative emotions. This demon was stalking Yone due to the negative emotions he harbored while pursuing Yasuo but died before it could strike.
- After defeating the azakana, Yone was resurrected with the azakana affixed to his face in the form of a mask as well an azakana blade. He now hunts azakana in order to learn more about them and his own fate.
- The man that appears in The Path, An Ionian Myth cinematic represents the older brother in Ionian myths whose story bears many similarities to Yone's.[13]
- Despite being brought back from the death by demonic power, Yone is not particularly undead.[14]

- Yone is one of 21 champions without a single ability power ratio on any ability: Aatrox, Camille, Darius, Dr. Mundo, Draven, Garen, K'Sante, Kayn, Kled, Naafiri, Nilah, Olaf, Pyke, Riven, Samira, Sett, Talon, Urgot, Xayah, Yone, and Zed.
- Yone - Yasuo is one of seven pairs of sibling champions (the others being Cassiopeia - Katarina, Kayle - Morgana, Garen - Lux, Nasus - Renekton, Darius - Draven, and Vi - Jinx).
- Yone is the first non-champion in Legends of Runeterra to become a champion in League of Legends.
- Yone was first confirmed to be the next champion with Spirit Blossom Thresh's voice lines.
- On VPBE during the V11.24 cycle[15], a new feature was added where whenever Yone scored a pentakill, a dramatic scene of him performing his Toggle emote was played for 7 seconds.[16] This was later removed due to controversy.[17]
