Active:Xerathcharges for up to 3 seconds to increase Arcanopulse's range over the first 1.5 seconds of the channel while being slowed by 0% − 50% (based on channel time). Arcanopulse can be recast at any time within its duration.
If the charge completes without reactivation, Arcanopulse is cancelled, refunding half of the mana cost.
40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60
Recast: After a 0.5-second delay, Xerath fires a beam of energy in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit.
80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 75% AP)
Arcanopulse will always fire from the original recasting position.
The following table refers for interactions while Xerath is channeling:
Active:Xerath calls down a blast of arcane energy upon the target location which strikes after a 0.5-second delay, revealing the area, and dealing magic damage to all enemies within and slowing them by 25% for 2.5 seconds.
60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 60% AP)
Enemies in the center of the blast take 66.7% increased damage and are slowed by a greater amount, decaying down to 25% over the duration.
Active:Xerathchannels for up to 10 seconds, unleashing his true power, revealing himself and gaining the ability to recast Rite of the Arcane multiple times after 0.5 seconds within its duration.
Number of Recasts:
3 / 4 / 5
Recast:Xerath launches a blast of arcane energy to the target location which strikes after 0.627 seconds, dealing magic damage and briefly granting sight of the area. Each cast has a static cooldown of 0.5 seconds.
200 / 250 / 300 (+ 45% AP)
600 / 1000 / 1500 (+ 135 / 180 / 225% AP)
If none of the recasts were used and Rite of the Arcane's channel times out or Xerath manually interrupts it, half of the ability's cooldown is refunded.
Rite of the Arcane's recast will cast at max range if cast beyond that.
Xerath also gains 5000 bonus attack range while channeling, for a total of 5525.*
While attacking during the channel is not possible, the bonus may persist「 for up-to 0.25 seconds 」「 until the next stat update 」after the end of the channel, allowing Xerath to sucessfully issue a single basic attack at this range if he does so quickly enough.
Each cast counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade and stacking Force Pulse.
The recast is named Arcane Barrage.
A circular indicator will be displayed at the target location to signify that the area will be blasted.
A circle indicating the ability's maximum range forms on the map over 1 second (starting small and rapidly expanding to the maximum range over the delay) for the channel's duration.
The maximum-range indicator is visible to both allies and enemies and is color coded for friendly (blue) or hostile (red).
Rite of the Arcane uses a barrage system so that it can be recast multiple times within a given period at no additional cost.
Xerath will turn to face toward the direction of the target location after using a recast.
Xerath gains a wider field of view during Rite of the Arcane.
First Cast: Xerath starts charging, gradually increasing Arcanopulse's range from 700 to 1400 while slowing down movement speed by up to 50% over the next 1.5 seconds seconds. After 3 seconds, Arcanopulse cancels and half the mana cost is refunded.
Second Cast: After a brief cast time, Xerath fires a beam of energy in a line the deals magic damage to all enemies hit.
Base damage increased to 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 75% AP) from 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 / 235 (+ 60% AP).
Active: Calls down a ground-targeted blast of energy, dealing 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 60% AP) magic damage to all enemies caught within the blast and slowing them by 10%. Enemies caught in the middle of the blast instead take 90 / 135 / 180 / 225 / 270 (+ 90% AP) magic damage and are slowed by 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80% instead.
Active: Xerath fires a orb of energy forward in a line that detonates on striking an enemy, dealing magic damage and stunning them for between 0.75 and 2 seconds. The stun duration is longer the further the Shocking Orb has travelled.
Active: Xerath roots himself in place and gains three shots of Arcane Barrage, a very long range magic artillery that does 190 / 245 / 300 (+43% AP) magic damage to all enemies hit. Xerath can cancel this effect early. Half of the cooldown is refunded if no shots of Arcane Barrage were used.
