Warwick is a champion in League of Legends.[1]

Innate: Warwick deals 12 − 46 (based on level) (+ 15% bonus AD) (+ 10% AP) bonus magic damage On-hit icon.png on-hit.

While below Health icon.png 50% maximum health, Warwick also Heal power icon.png heals for 100% of the post-mitigation damage dealt by Eternal Hunger, increased to 250% while below 25% maximum health.

Active: Warwick Bear Stance.png lunges at the target enemy, biting them after 0.264 seconds to deal them 120% AD (100% AP) magic damage and bonus magic damage equal to a percentage of the target's maximum health. The bonus damage is capped against Monster icon.png monsters. Warwick Heal power icon.png heals for a portion of the post-mitigation damage dealt by the ability.

Jaws of the Beast applies On-hit icon.png on-hit and Pix, Faerie Companion.png on-attack effects, and Life steal icon.png life steal at 100% effectiveness.

Hold: Jaws of the Beast can be held where Warwick performs the bite as usual and then begins to Channeling icon.png charge, during which he Dash.png leaps behind the target and sticks to them, following their position anywhere on the map. The charge lasts for 0.5 seconds, but extended if the target is under the effect of a Dash.png dash or a Airborne icon.png displacement.

Warwick is Unstoppable icon.png immune to displacements during Jaws of the Beast's animation. Additionally, if the target dies prior to him reaching them, the Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown is refunded, unless the ability was held.

Details

  • Jaws of the Beast deals Basic Attack.png basic damage, but also triggers spell effects by dealing an additional 0 Disintegrate.png spell damage.
  • As mentioned, Jaws of the Beast's heal is calculated only from its own damage dealt. Additional damage effects, such as On-hit icon.png on-hits, are not.
  • If casted beforehand, both the damage and the heal occurs even after Warwick's Death.png death, or during Revival icon.png resurrection.
  • It has been special cased so Warwick will specifically not follow an enemy's Recall Recall, or Sion Sion when reviving from Glory in Death Glory in Death (before dealing damage).
  • Jaws of the Beast's channel cannot be initiated while Grounded icon.png grounded or Root icon.png rooted. Warwick can only use the normal cast.
    • The channel will not be interrupted by either of the two effects, despite the lock-on being a movement channel.
  • The bite always occurs after the same delay, however the time spent lunging does not, which depends based on the range Jaw of the Beast was cast away from the target, up to a lunge duration of 0.5 seconds.
    • The lunge duration does not affect the Lockout icon 2.png lockout timer on, which is the same as the bite's delay.
    • Warwick's lunge always places him to his attack range to the center of his target.
  • Warwick's dash will place him up to the edge of his attack range from the target.

Interactions & Other

  • In order to hit the cap, the target monster needs to have at least 1667 / 1786 / 1875 / 1945 / 2000 health.
  • Jaws of the Beast is the only ability in the game that combines Channeling icon.png channeling with Unstoppable icon.png displacement immunity. Every Silence icon.png interrupting crowd control effect that is not resisted by the displacement immunity will prematurely stop the Dash.png dash.
    • The bite can still occur if cast before the crowd control application, but Warwick cannot start channeling.
    • Abilities that apply both Stun icon.png stun and Airborne icon.png airborne at the same time cause Warwick to ignore the displacement, but prematurely stop the channel and the dash.
    • The only exception to this is Sion's Sion's Glory in Death Glory in Death.
  • Warwick will follow enemies that move via You and Me!.png attachment effects but the lock-on will not be extended.
  • While Jaws of the Beast does not use Quick Casting by default, click-and-hold is comparable to the input required to use Bone Skewer Bone Skewer or Comet Spear Comet Spear. It does not accept two-click input (e.g. First Cast and Recast) that abilities like Piercing Arrow Piercing Arrow or Decimating Smash Decimating Smash use in Standard Casting.
  • Warwick will attempt to basic attack the target after a short delay.

    Blood Hunt

    Passive: While alive, Warwick marks all enemy Champion icon.png champions who are damaged by an allied unit to or while below Health icon.png 50% of their maximum health as Blood Hunted, highlighting the shortest path to them, which is only visible to Warwick. Warwick gains Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed while following the highlighted path.

    Warwick also gains Attack speed icon.png bonus attack speed upon Basic Attack.png basic attacking a Blood Hunted target or an enemy unit who is below Health icon.png 50% of their maximum health.

    Blood Hunt's bonuses are enhanced to 250% against targets below Health icon.png 20% of their maximum health.

    Upon entering combat with an enemy Champion icon.png champion, the Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed is lost for 0.5 seconds, but builds up again every 0.25 seconds over the next 3.5 seconds.

    Blood Hunt.png

    Active: Warwick senses all nearby enemies within a large radius and marks the nearest enemy Champion icon.png champion as Blood Hunted for 8 seconds, regardless of their Health icon.png current health.

    Blood Hunt cannot be cast for 3 seconds after entering combat with an enemy Champion icon.png champion. Additionally, while no enemies are currently being Blood Hunted, the current Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown of Blood Hunt is reduced by 1 each second.

    • Enemies who are Blood Hunted will display marks above their heads while hearing  
         ominous music until they are no longer Blood Hunted, with a small delay.
    • Blood Hunt can detect and target decoys.
    • The blood trail, although described as a trail, does not indicate where the target has been - only the quickest route to their current location, and it will update as Warwick and/or the target move.
    • Warwick will lose his movement speed bonus if enemies that are not Blood Hunted stay exactly between him and the Blood Hunted target.
      • The same applies to enemy champions that went under the threshold by taking Nexus Obelisk damage or to units that spawn with their current health below the threshold (i.e Hallucinate Hallucinate, Mirror Image Mirror Image).
    • The detection from Blood Hunt is similar to the effects of Sweeper Drone icon.png obscured vision rather than a form of Sight icon.png sight - it grants positional information only. It does not explicitly inform Warwick about who is low health or if they are alone.
    • The official ability descriptions says the bonuses are tripled, however the actual multiplier is 2.5. (note)
    • Blood Hunt will occur from wherever Warwick was at the start of the cast time.

    Primal Howl

    Active: Warwick gains Damage reduction icon.png damage reduction for up to 2.5 seconds. Primal Howl can be recast after 1 second, and does so automatically after its duration.

    Recast: Warwick howls, ending Primal Howl's effects and causing all nearby enemies to Flee icon.png flee from him for 1 second, during which they are Slow icon.png slowed by 90%.

    Starting Infinite Duress' Infinite Duress' channel while Primal Howl is active will initiate the recast without ending the damage reduction buff prematurely.

    • The initial cast and the manual recast count as ability activations for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Sheen item.png Spellblade and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
      • If the ability is not manually recasted, the secondary effect will trigger without being considered as an ability activation.
    • The recast's howling animation has a 0.5-second Lockout icon 2.png lockout time.
      • This will also cancel Warwick's basic attack.
      • Warwick cannot attack or cast abilities during the animation, instead the last input will be buffered to play after it ends.
    • Warwick will automatically recast if he enters Revival icon.png resurrection.

    Active: Warwick Dash.png leaps in the target direction, during which he is Cc-immune icon.png immune to crowd control.

    If Warwick collides with an enemy Champion icon.png champion, he stops and Knockdown icon.png knocks them down and Channeling icon.png channels for up to 1.5 seconds, Suppression icon.png suppressing them, True Sight icon.png revealing them, and dealing them magic damage every 0.25 seconds, Sight icon.png revealing himself in the process.

    Total Magic Damage:
    175 / 350 / 525 (+ 167% bonus AD)

    Warwick is Heal power icon.png healed for 100% of all post-mitigation damage he deals to the target during Infinite Duress.

    Infinite Duress applies On-hit icon.png on-hit and Pix, Faerie Companion.png on-attack effects 3 times, and Life steal icon.png life steal at 100% effectiveness.

    • Infinite Duress deals Basic Attack.png basic damage, but also triggers spell effects by dealing an additional 0 Disintegrate.png spell damage.
    • The minimum range of the ability is 275 units, based on the minimum movement speed that a champion can have (110) while still being able to move. The "base" range of this ability is 837.5 because of his 335 base movement speed.
      • Considering movement speed soft caps, with Blood Hunt Blood Hunt, this range increases to 1112 / 1145.5 / 1179 / 1203.125 / 1224.0625, further increased to 1360.15625 / 1412.5 / 1464.84375 / 1517.1875 / 1569.53125 against enemy champions below 20% health.
    • The ability deals a total of 9 damage instances that are done in cycles of 3 hits every 0.5 seconds, each divided in two instances. The first instance deals 2 hits and triggers the On-hit icon.png on-hit and Pix, Faerie Companion.png on-attack effects once, while the second instance deals the remaining last hit.
    • If Warwick does not collide with a champion, he will slide a fixed distance past the maximum range during which he is no longer crowd control immune and unable to declare basic attacks or cast movement abilities, including Flash Flash, but being able to cast Jaws of the Beast Jaws of the Beast and Blood Hunt Blood Hunt, with the former also interrupting the slide.
      • Warwick is able to cast Primal Howl Primal Howl at any time during the dash.
    • The dash will be interrupted instantly if an enemy champion Flash.png blinks in close proximity of Warwick.(note)
    • Activating Stopwatch Stopwatch / Zhonya's Hourglass Zhonya's Hourglass during the dash interrupts it.
    • Each hit counts as a separate hit for effects such as Electrocute Electrocute and Eclipse's Eclipse's Ever Rising Moon.
    • Warwick gains the Cc-immune icon.png cc-immunity at the start of the cast time.
    • Remove Scurvy.png Cleansing the Suppression icon.png suppression does not interrupt the Channeling icon.png channel and Warwick will continue to strike but not deal any damage.
      • Infinite Duress is special cased to have its channel interrupted by Fate's Call Fate's Call.
    • If the target is Cc-immune icon.png crowd control immune or protected by Spell Shield.png spell shield upon collision, Warwick will not start the Channeling icon.png channel.
    • If the target is in a Omen of Death.png zombie state, Warwick will stop the channel after ~0.5 seconds of hitting them.
    • Infinite Duress covers Warwick's hitbox, meaning he will collide with enemy champions that are particularly close to him.
