Vilemaw
Vilemaw was the most powerful neutral monster on Twisted Treeline. It served a similar role to the from Summoner's Rift.
Killing the Vilemaw granted the fear to enemy minions they come in contact with.
to all living teammates for 180 seconds, which greatly enhanced the stats of nearby allied minions as well as caused them to apply a briefFeatures[]
Basic Attacks[]
Vilemaw will attack the unit closest to it.
- Vilemaw has a melee and ranged attack. While targets are nearby, it sometimes performed devastating slam attacks that sent a shockwave in a line in the direction of its target.
Passives[]
- Vilemaw's basic attacks applied a debuff that reduced the target's armor and magic resistance by 0.5, stacking up to 60 times for a total of 30 maximum resistances reduction. Melee attacks applied 1 stack and ranged attacks applied 4, while its slam attacks applied 15 stacks overtime.
Abilities[]
- Periodically, while the Vilemaw was in combat, it would release a large web around its pit over 1 second, pulling all nearby units caught inside over 0.5 seconds, during which they were also stunned.
Trivia[]
- Vilemaw had an easter egg where if two champions danced in front of it, Vilemaw would dance along with them.
- Its dance references "The Carlton Dance" from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

- The skeleton of a dragon could be seen near Vilemaw. It was confirmed to be the former most powerful neutral monster Andrew 'Tamat' Beegle in a forum post found here, but Christina 'kitae' Norman says that this is merely a tribute and not canon.
- Another tribute to Ebonmaw is Vilemaw having the word "maw" in his name.[1]
(the dragon on Twisted Treeline) by - Upon defeat, Vilemaw doesn't simply die - instead, he retreats back into his lair in the background.
- This may be a reference to the giant spider, Shelob, from Lord of the Rings who, when defeated by Sam, crawls back into her cave and is never mentioned again.

- Removed from the game since Twisted Treeline was removed from the game.
- Bug Fix: Damage can no longer be avoided by standing in very specific spots along the wall.
- Added to the new Twisted Treeline.
