- Tag Duel - New mode
- Tag Duel will be available July 21–August 7, 2023 (00:01 UTC).
- This mode will take place in a new 1v1 map with no minions.
- You select three champions and be able to freely swap between them during the game.
- Swapping between champions will consume 1/3 meter charge. The super meter charges over time.
- When you swap between champions, all your cooldowns are refunded.
- All champions will auto-buy and auto-level up during the game.
- All champions share a single health bar, once it's depleted you'll lose 1/4 life and all champions will respawn with full health and cooldowns.
- Various information is displayed to all players, including team composition, lives, health, and super.
- Objective is to deplete the opponent's lives.
- Rift Emblem
- Added more locations for emblems, as well as dynamic placement based on ingame behavior.
- On Howling Abyss, the emblem is replaced by the player with the most kills.
- Added new tier of emblem that displays owner's summoner icon.
- Communication
- Added suggested Quick chat options after certain actions such as and death. These will use Poro emotes.
- Kill bounty
- The team that is sufficiently behind can now receive bonus kill bounties. They are highlighted on the minimap for both teams. When a bounty is claimed, the bounty's gold is distributed evenly among all team members.
- Objective bounty
- The team that is sufficiently behind can now receive objective bounties, calculated based on their experience and gold deficit as well as how many more turrets the opposing team has secured. They are highlighted on the minimap and the tab menu for both teams. When a bounty is claimed, the bounty's gold is distributed evenly among all team members. and
