- Changes
- The following applies to the PH (Philippines); Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia (SG); TW (Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao); TH (Thailand); and VN (Vietnam) shards. The lock-in window for each Tier is being reduced from two hours to one hour. The more limited time frame will aid in starting games faster.
- General
- Various significant performance improvements during the client's launch.
- LeaverBuster
- Bug Fix: Resolved an inconsistency which resulted in players detected AFK/Leaver not receiving their penalty. This issue particularly affected Remakes triggered very early on in a match.
- Increased the importance priority of secondary and Autofill role parity. This means that more matched teams on average should feature a secondary-role or Autofilled player in the same role on both teams.
- In Ranked modes, also slightly reduced LP devation steps and the maximum deviation among players. This naturally affects the extremes of the rank distribution more than tiers closer to the median.
- Decreased the red vs blue side imbalance, especially in higher MMRs.
- One of the factors, among many, that dictate side-advantages in League of Legends is the map's features.
- The Summoner's Rift map prior to patch 14.1 featured a major disadvantage to the red team's side of the map due to its asymmetry which was considered more significant than the other factors. This would be compensated by adjusted MMR fluctuations per game for the red-side team: they would earn more MMR per win, and would lose less MMR per defeat. When the map was updated in Season 2024, it became significantly more symmetrical, thus this side-advantage imbalance was reduced. However, the adjustment system in-place for the red side did not change.
- In the Ranked Solo/Duo Queue, this matchmaking imbalance resulted in an unprecedented inflation of equivalent LP for red-side players at the maximum extreme of the rank distribution (= in high MMRs); particularly so when players discovered such fault of the matchmaker and subsequently exploited it. Now that enough time has elapsed for new data to dictate the new equilibrium of the map's side-advantage, the system is also being adjusted in order to less strongly affect baseline MMR & LP gains/losses.
- Player Levels
- Cleaned up backend systems related to granting rewards.
- Added a special reward for dedicated, high-level players. [Editor's note: This is likely granted at player level 1000, but Riot have intentionally not confirmed this publicly.]
- Queuing
- Penalties for repeatedly ignoring or declining the AFK check at the maximum lockout tier will now escalate to account suspensions if the account continues to exhibit AFK check failure behavior.
- This is currently live in the NA shard only. The following patch will roll this change out to all servers.
- Ranked
- After being tested on the KR shard starting with patch 14.15, Ranked-restricted players will now be required to win 3 Normal Summoner's Rift games (Quickplay and/or Draft Pick) in order to re-gain access to Ranked Summoner's Rift queues, instead of being required to play 5 full Normal Summoner's Rift games (regardless of victory or defeat).

- Charged abilities
- New Effect: Charged channels can now be buffered to activate after the effects of cast-inhibiting crowd control have worn off, if the player is holding down the respective ability hotkey the moment that these effects end.
- Role Pathing Indicators
- In Summoner's Rift, players at or below player level 11 will now be given large arrow indicators on the ground that guide them toward their starting map position.
- For laners (top, mid, bot, support) the indicators will point toward each role's respective assigned lane.
- For the jungler the indicators will point toward the first camp as recommended by the in-game recommended jungle clear route.

- Bug Fix: Fixed an issue that caused his basic attack reset to cancel when you dashed towards an enemy.
