Middle East (ME1) Server Launch[1]
  • Transfers to the Middle East server are now enabled for 1 BE 1, and transfers out of it are disabled, both until September 3rd.
    • The launch will feature Welcome events such as community tournaments, and free rewards including champion unlocks.
  • Time Zone: UTC+3 / AST.
Mode selection
  • Up until now, the screen could only feature up to four selection screens. The back-end has been improved to allow for more.
Ranked
  • Tier promotions now roll over LP.
    • A safety has been instated where, if a tier promotion would place the player at 0 LP, one point is added.

This is increased to 40% bonus attack speed and bonus attack damage and ability power equal to 15% bonus attack speed upon scoring a champion takedown. While Living Vengeance's bonus is active, Varus' attack speed cap is increased to 2.7632.
    • Old Effect: When Varus kills an enemy, he gains 10 / 15 / 20% (based on level) (+ 20% − 23.4% (based on level) bonus attack speed) bonus attack speed for 5 / 7 / 9 / 11 (based on level) seconds, increased to 40% (+ 40% − 46.8% (based on level) bonus attack speed) bonus attack speed upon scoring a champion takedown.

Chemtech Drake Chemtech Drake
  • Bug Fix: Now is properly locked out of movement during its taking flight / knockback spell, like all other drakes. Previously, upon initiating combat it would cast the spell while simultaneously moving, after acquiring the target who initiated combat with it.

Howling Abyss[]

Champion select
  • New: Added a three-second cooldown for selections that are immediately rerolled to bench. This applies to every teammate except the one who has rerolled their selection, so the rerolling player can now swap back to their original selection without worrying about other teammates taking that selection away.
    • This does not affect bench-swapping behavior.
General
  • New: The shop now features the Boots and Consumables quick purchase panels on the left side. This aligns with the current Summoner's Rift shop.
  • Bug Fix: The model of the gate in front of an Outer turret no longer sometimes lingers indefinitely after the Outer turret is destroyed.
