Ranked
  • Inter-division promotion series has been removed.
    • On promotion, leftover LP will now roll over into your next division.
  • Inter-division demotion shielding at 0 LP has been removed.
  • Matchmaking now takes into account rank in addition to matchmaking rating.
  • Duo queue has been disabled at Masters, Grandmasters and Challenger ranks.
  • Brand new accounts entering Ranked for the first time will now take into account additional variables to ensure a more accurate original placement.
  • All ranked rewards will be distributed by December 10th in all regions except CN. CN will see their ranked rewards in patch 10.24.
Victorious Lucian
  • If you achieved Gold or higher in Summoner's Rift Ranked Solo/Duo, Flex, or both, you'll receive Victorious Lucian Victorious Lucian (as well as Lucian Lucian himself if you don't own him yet). New to 2020, you'll also receive a Victorious chroma for each rank you hit above Gold. As a cherry on top, everyone who finished Ranked placements will receive an Eternals Lucian Series 1 Permanent, a Ranked profile icon, and a Ranked profile banner trim.

  • Ability Haste / Cooldown Reduction
    • Cooldown reduction has been replaced by a new stat called Ability Haste.
      • Ability Haste's calculation: Base Cooldown ÷ (1 + AH ÷ 100).
      • Cooldown reduction's calculation: Base Cooldown × (1 − CDR ÷ 100).
      • Summoner Spell Cooldown Reduction has been replaced by a new stat called Summoner Spell Haste which reduces summoner spell cooldowns by the same calculation.
      • Active Item Cooldown Reduction has been replaced by a new stat called Item Haste which reduces the cooldowns for item actives and passives by the same calculation.
    • Ability Haste's power stacks linearly and is uncapped.
    • Examples:
      • 10% CDR = +11.11% cast efficiency ( × 0.9 effective cooldown, 10% reduction = 11.11 AH)
      • 40% CDR = +66.67% cast efficiency ( × 0.6 effective cooldown, 40% reduction = 66.67 AH)
      • 10 AH = +10% cast efficiency ( × 0.91 effective cooldown, 9.09% reduction = 9.09% CDR)
      • 40 AH = +40% cast efficiency ( × 0.71 effective cooldown, 28.57% reduction = 28.57% CDR)
      • 67 AH = +67% cast efficiency ( × 0.6 effective cooldown, 40.12% reduction = 40.12% CDR)
  • Life steal
  • Spell vamp (engine-level drain from spell damage types) stat is no longer available from any items nor runes.
  • New Vamp stat that divides into two subcategories: Physical vamp and Omnivamp. Each Vamp type heals a portion of the damage you deal, reduced to 33% effectiveness for AoE and pet damage.
    • Physical vamp applies to all physical damage dealt.
    • Omnivamp applies to all damage dealt, including magic damage, physical damage, and true damage.

    • Old Innate: Viktor starts each game with an exclusive Prototype Hex Core Prototype Hex Core, which permanently occupies one of his item slots. For some additional gold Gold gold, Viktor can upgrade his Hex Core to increase its bonuses (Hex Core mk-1 item Hex Core mk-2 item Perfect Hex Core item) and grant him one Evolution point, which he can use to augment one of his basic abilities. Once he augments all of his basic abilities, Viktor automatically augments his ultimate ability, Chaos Storm Chaos Storm.

  • Old Effect:
    • Champion Damage rating takedowns, after a 1-second delay, restore 20% of your maximum mana or 20% of your maximum energy and increase maximum mana by 100 or maximum energy by 10, stacking up to 5 times for a maximum of 500 maximum mana or 50 maximum energy.

  • New Effect:
    • Gain 1% (+ 2% per Bounty Hunter stack) omnivamp, up to 11% at 5 stacks.

    • Healing reduced to one third on Death Lotus area damage.

  • New Effect: No longer puts the consumable on cooldown, if consumables are stacked the instant restoration is applied after the duration of the initial consumable ends.

  • New Effect: Gain bonuses upon reaching the following levels:
    • Level 5: 5 ability haste.
    • Level 8: 5 ability haste.
    • Level 11: On champion Damage rating takedowns, reduce the remaining cooldown of your basic abilities by 20%.
  • Old Effect:
    • Gain 10% cooldown reduction at level 10.
    • Additionally, you gain either 1.2 bonus Attack Damage or 2 Ability Power (Adaptive) for every 1% cooldown reduction in excess of the cap.

  • Abilities now apply and refresh the burn alongside basic attacks.
