Greetings fellow Summoners. As of late, I have been thoroughly enjoying rework, playing her as a steady pick quite successfully but, as an odd player, I like odd builds, like taking on her. But that is not what this blog is about.

Its about the armor circumvention choice I make on Ashe, opting for over . And for good reason because, while both items provide the same AD, the similarities end there. Last Whisper ends at adding armor penetration, but The Black Cleaver does a lot more then that:

    • It adds 20% CDR, which is huge for Ashe, who has three out of four abilities with cooldowns longer than 15 seconds.
    • It adds 400 health, which helps her survive any burst she was unable to kite.
    • It adds the unique passive , which helps her chase and kit…

    Kalista for the niche support

    November 25, 2014 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

With the introduction of , there's a some supports that become more viable then they are now. This is especially true for melee tank supports that have Area of Effect Crowd Control (AoE CC) With the engage that provides, you don't really need a gap-closer to set up your cc. For me, there are 3 support champions that stand out on this front, all are melee and have AoE CC.

My personal favorite: , he already has a massive engage in his tool belt and with Kalista's ultimate he becomes even more lethal. Starting from said ultimate you have a 1.5 second knock up, with another 1 second knockup out of , after that you can leisurely pick out a single target to send back into your team with . There's about 0 chance of the …

    Cpl Punishment

    September 29, 2014 by Deshiba

    Greetings Summoners,

Today I'd like to have a little chat with you guys and gals about something I'd like to call Corporal Punishment, you see it's punny because it's a military rank and an actual action at the same time! I hope that most of you know what corporal punishment in real life entail, if not, here's the definition according to the ever reliable Wikipedia:

    • "Corporal punishment is a form of physical punishment that involves the deliberate infliction of pain as retribution for an offence, or for the purpose of disciplining or reforming a wrongdoer, or to deter attitudes or behavior deemed unacceptable. The term usually refers to methodically striking the offender with the open hand or with an implement, whether in judicial, domestic,…

    Perspective of a break taker.

    September 25, 2014 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

The few of you that know me, probably know that I've been on a hiatus for a while now. That being said I'd like to share with you a bit of what I find to be weird about what was rumored and actually shared by riot that was going to get changed... And what ACTUALLY changed.

So from when I left, we had just received news that a Rune Page overhaul was coming, but that sadly it was taking longer then expected. So they gave us a balance tweak to flat AD and AP, both per level and the same for armor and mr, together with a downright nerf to movement speed and lifesteal/spellvamp. As of yet, we are still waiting for the complete overhaul to be done. What they promised:

    • Better balance
    • Less useless runes
    • Less runes, with a r…

    Mana Items.

    September 21, 2014 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners!

In response to Sifter66's blog post, I wanted to delve a little bit deeper into my take on mana items and what I think should change. This is merely an exercise in theory crafting which I consider to be quite fun. Please do read it as such, enjoy and feel free to leave your own thoughts on the matter in the comments!

Currently there are 2 main stacking items that evolve from , namely for AP and for AD. They grant AP and AD respectively for each point of mana you have in your pool. They also have items that go along nicely, for defense there's items like and , and for utility there's items like and .

Even though at first glance it might seem like an airtight combination, there are weak spots to committing to a m…
