Untitled MMO is an upcoming MMORPG set within the world of 
Runeterra, developed by 
Riot Games . It was announced on December 17th, 2020 by Executive Producer Greg 'Ghostcrawler' Street.[1] The game is currently in early development and is expected to launch in the distant future. The lore of the MMO will be considered canon to the League of Legends universe.[2]
Development was reset in early 2024. It was stated that the decision to reset development was to make sure that the MMO didn't feel like any other "with a Runeterra coat of paint." It was further stated that development would "go dark" for the next several years.[3]
