Tiamat is an advanced item in League of Legends.[1]

Recipe

Notes

  • The splash damage will also apply a percentage of damage from critical strikes and can be dodged. However, on-hit effects such as life steal and slows are not transferred.
  • The splash damage passive from the item is not unique, meaning that it is possible to obtain up to 300% splash damage with 6 Tiamats.
  • The bonus splash damage of each Tiamat is dealt separately.
  • The splash is considered an on-hit effect, and thus will be triggered by basic attacks and abilities that proc on-hit effects, such as Gangplank's Gangplank's Parrrley Parrrley, Ezreal's Ezreal's Mystic Shot Mystic Shot, or Warwick's Warwick's Infinite Duress Infinite Duress.
  • Using Tiamat on Nasus Nasus does not grant bonus damage for Siphoning Strike Siphoning Strike when the splash damage causes a kill.
  • The splash radius of this item is 185.
  • With Tristana Tristana 's Explosive Shot Explosive Shot and Tiamat(s), you can effectively eliminate enemy minions and other groups of enemies. ( Rapid Fire Rapid Fire also helps greatly, as does any other attack speed items).

Trivia

  • In Babylonian mythology, Tiamat was the first dragon and was slain to make the heavens, earth, and man.
  • In the V1.0.0.115 April Fools day patch Tiamat Tiamat was renamed to Tamat.
  • It is the only item in the game that builds directly from four Basic-Tier items.
