• In alternate artwork, the skull face was covered by a helmet, as the fog of the skull was blurred.
• The Undying is one of the Wraiths of the Shadow Isles. Elements called The Grasp of the Undying exist in a lot Riot Games' media, and did long before Legends of Runeterra was released. This specter may have been designed as a source for this power.
