The Ultimate Hat is a rune in

Notes
- On Shyvana and Udyr, The Ultimate Hat was exchanged with Nullifying Orb.
- Transformation champions such as Jayce and Nidalee all benefited normally from it.
- The Ultimate Hat affected both cooldowns and recharge timers on abilities such as Teemo's Noxious Trap.
- The Ultimate Hat stacked multiplicatively with regular cooldown reduction. This meant that the effective reduction is less than the advertised value while you have any CDR from other sources.
- 40% cooldown reduction and the The Ultimate Hat (fully stacked to 5) resulted in 49% cooldown reduction on your ultimate.
- With Cosmic Insight this could be further increased to 53.25%.
- The added cooldown reduction did not decrease the ultimate's first cooldown.
Strategy
- The Ultimate Hat is really useful and efficient on Karma as she can reach the maximum bonus CDR in about 3 minutes if she starts casting her ultimate as she spawns.

- Removed from the game.
- Replaced by Ultimate Hunter.
- Bug Fix: Wukong's Cyclone and Rakan's The Quickness now properly benefit from the cooldown reduction.

- Sorcery Slot 1 rune.
- Passive: Grants 5% cooldown reduction for your ultimate ability, increased by 2% each time you cast your ultimate up to 15% after 5 casts.
- This stacks multiplicatively with cooldown reduction.
