Stasis

A unit that is in stasis is unable to control its movement, declare attacks, cast abilities, activate items or use any Summoner spell icon summoner spell for the duration, while also being Cosmic Radiance invulnerable and Playful untargetable.

Interrupts: Interrupts attack windups (Excessive Force 2 unstoppable basic attack exception), all Channeling icon channeled and charged abilities and all Dash dashes and Airborne icon displacements. Units that are being Airborne icon knocked up will be placed on the ground, but aren't Knockdown icon knocked down (the airborne status is not removed in this case).
Reduction: The duration is unaffected by Tenacity icon Tenacity.
Resist: Resisted by Cc-immune icon crowd control immunity and in some cases by Unstoppable icon Unstoppability. Monster icon Epic monsters and Turret icon turrets are special cased to be affected by stasis despite them being Cc-immune icon crowd control immune.
Removal: Cannot be removed by any means, and will prevent the activation of abilities that would usually remove Stun icon crowd control effects. Quicksilver Sash item Quicksilver will either be placed on a short cooldown, remain usable, or become disabled.

Most crowd control effects are applied by attacks or abilities that can be blocked with Spell Shield spell shields.

  • Crowd control applied by one's self or an ally cannot be countered in any way, neither reduced in duration, resisted, nor removed unless special cased to do so.
    • The crowd control effect may still be Remove Scurvy cleansed if it is applied as a debuff separate from the originated ability.

All tip data templates use the same parameter.

Retrieval of data items

{{data Stasis|pst2|interrupts}}, using parameter selection template Template:Pst2, gives the parameter interrupts, etc.

For retrieval of more data items it is more efficient to prepare a template for that, to be used as follows:

{{data Stasis|template name|..|..|..|..}}

so that this data template needs to be called only once.[1] The default template is Template:Tip data, producing this page.

The four parameters are optional, they are passed on to the prepared template as parameters 2-5.

A parameter being undefined or empty typically means the same, see below. {{data ..|pst2|..}} gives the empty string and the text "{{{..}}}", respectively. Therefore, an application checking the parameter has to check both. Checking whether a result is equal to e.g. the text "{{{popinc}}}" cannot be done directly with #ifeq in a template which itself has also a parameter with that name, because if that is defined, there would be a comparison with the value instead of the text itself. Instead, it can be checked whether the first character of the result is "{", e.g.: {{#ifeq:{{padleft:|1|{{data {{{continent}}}|pst2|popinc}}}}|{|..|..}}. Until here the documentation is automatically generated by Template:Tip data.
