Airborne

A unit that is knocked airborne is made so alongside undergoing a forced displacement in a specified direction or to a specific point or for a set duration at its current location, during which it is also unable to control its movement, declare attacks, cast abilities, activate items or use the summoner spells summoner spells Flash Flash, Teleport Teleport, Hexflash Hexflash, and Mark Mark / Dash Dash.

Interrupts: Interrupts attack windups (excluding Excessive Force 2.png uncancelable basic attacks), and all Channeling icon.png channeled and charged abilities. The accompanying displacement interrupts all Dash.png dashes and overrides previous airborne effects.
Reduction: The duration of airborne and its forced movement execution time is unaffected by Tenacity icon.png Tenacity.
Resist: Resisted by Cc-immune icon.png crowd control immunity and Unstoppable icon.png displacement immunity.
Removal: The forced movement that comes with airborne effects cannot be removed by cleanses, which innately disables attacking and moving and can be overridden by Dash.png dashing or Flash.png blinking. Remove Scurvy.png Cleansing effects, with the exceptions of Cleanse Cleanse, Mikael's Blessing Mikael's Blessing, and Quicksilver Sash item.png Quicksilver, remove the airborne status effect.

  • Crowd control applied by one's self or an ally cannot be countered in any way, neither reduced in duration, resisted, nor removed unless special cased to do so.
    • The crowd control effect may still be Remove Scurvy.png cleansed if it is applied as a debuff separate from the originated ability.

All tip data templates use the same parameter.

Retrieval of data items

{{data Airborne|pst2|interrupts}}, using parameter selection template Template:Pst2, gives the parameter interrupts, etc.

For retrieval of more data items it is more efficient to prepare a template for that, to be used as follows:

{{data Airborne|template name|..|..|..|..}}

so that this data template needs to be called only once.[1] The default template is Template:Tip data, producing this page.

The four parameters are optional, they are passed on to the prepared template as parameters 2-5.

A parameter being undefined or empty typically means the same, see below. {{data ..|pst2|..}} gives the empty string and the text "{{{..}}}", respectively. Therefore, an application checking the parameter has to check both. Checking whether a result is equal to e.g. the text "{{{popinc}}}" cannot be done directly with #ifeq in a template which itself has also a parameter with that name, because if that is defined, there would be a comparison with the value instead of the text itself. Instead, it can be checked whether the first character of the result is "{", e.g.: {{#ifeq:{{padleft:|1|{{data {{{continent}}}|pst2|popinc}}}}|{|..|..}}. Until here the documentation is automatically generated by Template:Tip data.
