Rock Surfing

Innate: Taliyah gains up to 20% − 45% (based on level) Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed, which builds up over 1 second if she had been near terrain or structures for at least 0.4 seconds and decays by the same amount if out of range for at least 0.8 seconds.

Entering combat or casting an ability puts Rock Surfing on a 2 second Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown, which refreshes continuously while remaining in combat or casting abilities.

Notes
  • Taliyah's basic attack disables Rock Surfing on-hit. If the target dies before the projectile connects, Rock Surfing will not go on cooldown.
  • The build up and decay changes by the same amount in the same interval, which is 25% of the maximum value every 0.25 seconds.

Active: Taliyah unleashes 5 Stone Shards in quick succession in the target direction over 1.5 seconds, dealing magic damage to the first target hit. Enemies hit by multiple Stone Shards take 50% damage beyond the first.

Taliyah can move and cast other abilities while launching Stone Shards. After launching the third Stone Shard she's also able to basic attack.

Casting Threaded Volley creates an area of Worked Ground 450 units around Taliyah that lasts 45 seconds. While on Worked Ground, Threaded Volley's Mana icon.png mana cost is reduced to 1 and Taliyah only hurls one Stone Shard when casting.

  • The first Stone Shard hit on each target is considered Disintegrate.png spell damage, while additional ones of the same cast are considered Blaze.png persistent damage.
  • The first Stone Shard is launched instantly after the cast time ends, then the second and third Stone Shards are both launched over 1 second, and finally the fourth and fifth Stone Shards are both launched over 0.5 seconds.

Active: Taliyah scatters 18 boulders over the ground in a cone before her in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit.

Total Magic Damage:
100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+ 80% AP)

The boulders then remain for 4 seconds, Slow icon.png slowing all enemies within the area by 20% (+ 4% per 100 AP). At the end of their duration, all remaining boulders explode, dealing Unraveled Earth's initial damage once more.

Enemies who Dash.png dash over or are Airborne icon.png knocked through the boulders will detonate them instantly, each dealing magic damage. Enemies can detonate multiple boulders, but they will only take damage from a maximum of 4, reduced by 0% − 45% (based on boulders hit).

Active: Taliyah summons a massive wall of spiraling rocks that tear through the battlefield in the target direction, creating impassable terrain for 5 seconds and Airborne icon.png knocking aside allied and enemy Champion icon.png champions it passes through as it emerges. Taliyah also Channeling icon.png channels and Sight icon.png reveals herself for 1 second, during which Weaver's Wall can be recast. Weaver's Wall can also be recast while the wall has yet to expire after it has reached its maximum range.

Recast: Upon completing the Channeling icon.png channel, Taliyah Dash.png surfs the wall as it emerges, during which she Sight icon.png reveals herself to the enemies. Taking damage from enemy champions or Turret icon.png turrets during the channel or while riding the wall will prevent her from surfing for the former and force her off the wall for the latter. After 0.75 seconds, she can input a movement command to manually jump off the wall. If recast after the wall has reached its maximum range, Taliyah manually destroys it. Taliyah can Dash.png surf the wall without having to destroy it early, and vice versa.

  • The initial cast counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
    • However neither recasts do.
  • Weaver's Wall, while Channeling icon.png channeling, can be recast while Grounded icon.png grounded but not while Root icon.png rooted.
  • Wind Wall Wind Wall and Blade Whirl Blade Whirl will prevent Weaver's Wall from summoning any further but does not destroy any initial terrain it spawned. If Taliyah is surfing during the collision, she immediately becomes Stun icon.png stunned for 0.25 seconds, interrupting the surf.
  • If Taliyah would enter terrain and the wall reaches maximum range inside, she is preemptively forced off the wall before entering.
    • The wall can surpass the edges of the map, but Taliyah cannot.
  • If Weaver's Wall is allowed to expire normally, the wall collapses with the same progression as it was formed.
  • She's more likely to jump off to the left side of Weaver's Wall.
