An Acquired Taste
An Acquired Taste

Innate: Tahm Kench's basic attacks deal 4% of his maximum health bonus magic damage. Against enemy Champion icon champions they also apply An Acquired Taste stack for 5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. The stacks decay once every 0.67 seconds after the stacks reach the full duration.

Tongue Lash Tongue Lash and Devour Devour gain additional effects against enemies with three stacks.

Info
Notes
  • By calculating An Acquired Taste's base damage, using Tahm Kench's base health, An Acquired Taste's damage can be acquired in a different way: 24 − 92 (based on level) (+ 4% bonus health) magic damage.
  • The passive bonus damage applies to turrets.

Info
Notes
  • Devour Devour can be 'queued' at any point during Tongue Lash (including the wind-up animation) and will not go on cooldown if Tahm Kench fails to hit a valid target with Tongue Lash.

Map-Specific Differences
The Thinking Manatee profileicon Ultra Rapid Fire differences:
  • Cooldown is only reduced by 60%, rather than 80%.

Devour
TARGET RANGE: Range model 250
CAST TIME: 0.25
COST: 100 Mana
COOLDOWN: 20
Devour

Active: Tahm Kench swallows the target enemy Minion icon minion, non-epic Monster icon monster or allied Champion icon champion for up to 4 seconds. Swallowed units are rendered Playful untargetable and cannot perform any actions. If the target is an enemy, they are instantly Stun icon stunned for 0.5 seconds and Suppression icon suppressed for the cast time and while swallowed.

Tahm Kench can swallow a target enemy champion for up to 2 seconds if they have three An Acquired Taste An Acquired Taste stacks, doing so consumes all of them. If Tahm Kench swallows a champion, he becomes unable to cast movement spells and is Slow icon slowed by 95% for the duration.

Swallowing an enemy refunds 50% of Devour's Cooldown reduction icon cooldown and Mana icon mana cost.

After 1 second, Devour can be recast into Regurgitate Regurgitate while Tahm Kench's belly is full, and automatically does so at the end of the duration. Allied champions can exit at will after the same delay, unless they're Stun icon immobilized.

Edit
Regurgitate
TARGET RANGE: 150 / 250 / 650
CAST TIME: 0.25
Regurgitate

Active: Tahm Kench regurgitates the swallowed target to the target location if they are a champion, and spits them in the target direction if they are a non-champion. If they are an enemy they also take magic damage, capped at 500 against monsters.

Magic Damage:
60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 11% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health)

Minions and non-epic monsters that are spat forth can collide with an enemy or terrain to deal magic damage to all enemies around them and themselves before taking Regurgitate's damage.

Projectile Damage:
60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 60% AP)

Notes
  • Devour does not destroy in-flight Projectile projectiles for enemy targets.
  • Devour renders enemies Playful untargetable once they are inside Tahm Kench's belly. Allies become untargetable on-cast.
  • Devour counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade, charging Spellbinder item Spellbinder, and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
    • Detonating the ability early for Regurgitate Regurgitate does not.
  • Devour's initial Suppression icon suppression is separate from the one that lasts while swallowed.
    • If the target Remove Scurvy cleanses the initial one, they will become swallowed immediately.
  • Devour will remove Airborne icon airborne effects from the target upon entering Tahm Kench's belly.
  • Swallowed non-champions cannot be reduced below Health icon 1 health.
  • Devour cannot be used on allies that are Channeling icon channeling.
  • Devour cannot be cast on units that are Unstoppable icon displacement immune.
  • Devour's cast will cancel if the target become Unstoppable icon displacement immune or Cc-immune icon immune to crowd control during the cast time. The Cooldown reduction icon cooldown will be refunded if this occurs.
  • Swallowed enemy champions will receive Regurgitate's damage immediately if they Remove Scurvy cleanse the Suppression icon suppression or Tahm Kench dies.
  • Devour is canceled if the target dies during the cast time. It does not go on Cooldown reduction icon cooldown nor expend Mana icon mana.
  • The Slow icon self-slow is affected by Slow immune icon slow resist.
  • Devour will prioritize champions over other units.
    • If champions stay on top of each other it will prioritize those who stay beneath.
  • Devour cannot be used on Omen of Death post-death forms such as Glory in Death Glory in Death or on targets that are already being devoured by another Tahm Kench.
  • Devour will not interrupt persistent area-of-effect abilities (e.g. Crowstorm Crowstorm, Slicing Maelstrom Slicing Maelstrom, Samira Rank S Inferno Trigger) nor non-channeled ones (e.g. Center of the Universe Center of the Universe).

Notes
  • Regurgitate does not count as an ability activation.
  • Regurgitate can send allies to the other side of small walls.
  • Tahm Kench can spit an ally up to 250 units away. If Regurgitate was cast automatically from Devour's duration timing out, the ally will be spat at minimum range, or directly on top of Tahm Kench.
  • If Regurgitate was cast automatically, Tahm Kench will spit the target in his facing direction.

Edit
Thick Skin
CAST TIME: 0.25
COOLDOWN: 3
Thick Skin

Passive: Tahm Kench stores a percentage of the damage he takes as Grey Health on his health bar, up to a maximum of 100% of his missing health.

Damage into Grey Health:
45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65%

While Thick Skin is available, and after taking no damage for 2.5 seconds, Tahm Kench rapidly Heal power heals for 30% − 100% (based on level) of his Grey Health over time.

Active: Tahm Kench converts his current Grey Health into a Hybrid resistances icon shield that lasts for 2 seconds.

Info
Notes
  • Thick Skin shield value and Grey Health percentage heal are both boosted by effects that increase heal and shield power. This means Tahm Kench can technically heal more than the normal amount of Grey Health and get a shield bigger than his maximum health.
    • At level 18 Tahm Kench would need 53.8% Heal power heal power to heal for 100% of the damage he takes, reduced to 39.9% with Revitalize rune Revitalize, 18.3% with Spirit Visage item Spirit Visage, and 7.6% with both.
  • Grey Health converts all post-mitigation damage, Thick Skin effectively grants Tahm Kench a form of true damage mitigation.
  • Grey Health can temporarily exceed 100% of his missing health when Tahm Kench heals through other means with a Grey Health bar at 100%. In that case he will keep the higher Grey Health value for a few moments until it updates and removes the amount that he healed.

Abyssal Voyage
TARGET RANGE: 2500 / 5500 / 8500
CAST TIME: 0.25
COST: 100 Mana
COOLDOWN: 140 / 130 / 120
Abyssal Voyage

Abyssal Voyage can be recast 0.25 seconds after starting the channel. If an ally has climbed in, they immediately become Playful untargetable and Tahm Kench automatically begins a 1.65-second Channeling icon channel that, when completed, renders Tahm Kench also Playful untargetable and causes him and his ally to Flash blink to the target location, both becoming unable to perform actions for 1 second and afterwards becoming targetable again.

Abyssal Voyage 2

Recast: Tahm Kench manually begins the channel to Flash blink to the target location. Allies can still join him while they have the chance during this time.

Abyssal Voyage is put on a 10 second Cooldown reduction icon cooldown if the second channel is not started or is Silence icon interrupted.

Allies must be out of combat with enemy champions to come with Tahm Kench. Tahm Kench may also not start the channel if he has Devour Devoured someone.

"Boy, the world's one river, and I'm its king. Ain't no place I ain't been; ain't no place I can't go again."

Info
Notes
  • The initial cast counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade, charging Spellbinder item Spellbinder, and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
    • Recasting the ability does not.
  • Abyssal Voyage, upon recast, will alert Tahm Kench's arrival to nearby enemies and allies with a ping.
