Innate: Tahm Kench's basic attacks deal 4% of his maximum health bonus magic damage. Against enemy Champion icon.png champions they also apply An Acquired Taste stack for 5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times, with the duration refreshing on Tongue Lash Tongue Lash and subsequent attacks. The stacks decay once every 0.67 seconds when the duration ends.

Tongue Lash Tongue Lash and Devour Devour gain additional effects against enemies with 3 stacks.

  • By calculating An Acquired Taste's base damage, using Tahm Kench's base health, An Acquired Taste's damage can be acquired in a different way: 24 − 92 (based on level) (+ 4% bonus health) magic damage.

During Tongue Lash, Devour Devour can be cast for no Mana icon.png mana expenditure and cast time to swallow the Minion icon.png minion or non-epic Monster icon.png monster struck after being pulled over 0.75 seconds at the cost of no longer dealing Tongue Lash's damage.

Active: Tahm Kench swallows the target enemy Minion icon.png minion, non-epic Monster icon.png monster or allied Champion icon.png champion for up to 4 seconds. Swallowed units are rendered Playful.png untargetable and cannot perform any actions. If the target is an enemy, they are instantly Stun icon.png stunned for 0.5 seconds and Suppression icon.png suppressed for the cast time and while swallowed.

Tahm Kench can swallow a target enemy champion for up to 2 seconds if they have three An Acquired Taste An Acquired Taste stacks, doing so consumes all of them. If Tahm Kench swallows a champion, he becomes unable to cast movement spells and is Slow icon.png slowed by 95% for the duration.

Swallowing an enemy refunds 50% of Devour's Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown and Mana icon.png mana cost.

After 1 second, Devour can be recast into Regurgitate Regurgitate while Tahm Kench's belly is full, and automatically does so at the end of the duration. Allied champions can exit at will by inputting a movement command after the same delay, unless they're Stun icon.png immobilized.

Active: Tahm Kench regurgitates the swallowed target a fixed distance in the target direction. If they are an enemy they also take magic damage, capped at 500 against monsters.

Minions and non-epic monsters that are spat forth can collide with an enemy or terrain to deal magic damage to all enemies around them and themselves before taking Regurgitate's damage.

Notes
  • Devour does not destroy in-flight Projectile.png projectiles for enemy targets.
  • Devour renders enemies Playful.png untargetable once they are inside Tahm Kench's belly. Allies become untargetable on-cast.
  • Devour counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
  • Devour's initial Suppression icon.png suppression is separate from the one that lasts while swallowed.
    • If the target Remove Scurvy.png cleanses the initial one, they will become swallowed immediately.
  • Devour will remove Airborne icon.png airborne effects from the target upon entering Tahm Kench's belly.
  • Swallowed non-champions cannot be reduced below Health icon.png 1 health.
  • Devour cannot be used on allies that are Channeling icon.png channeling.
  • Devour cannot be cast on units that are Unstoppable icon.png displacement immune.
  • Devour cannot be cast on Effigies Effigies.
  • Devour's cast will cancel if the target becomes Unstoppable icon.png displacement immune during the cast time. The cooldown will be refunded if this occurs.
  • The swallowed target will become free if Tahm Kench enters or leaves the Realm of Death Realm of Death.
  • Tahm Kench cannot channel Recall Recall during Devour.
  • Swallowed enemy champions will receive Regurgitate's damage regardless of how they leave Tahm Kench's belly.
  • Devour is canceled if the target dies or enters the Realm of Death Realm of Death during the cast time. It does not go on Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown nor expend Mana icon.png mana.
  • The Slow icon.png self-slow is affected by Slow immune icon.png slow resist.
  • Devour will prioritize champions over other units.
    • If champions stay on top of each other it will prioritize those who stay beneath.
  • Devour cannot be used on Omen of Death.png post-death forms such as Glory in Death Glory in Death or on targets that are already being devoured by another Tahm Kench.
  • Devour cannot be cast on Zac's Zac's bloblets bloblets.
  • Devour will not end persistent area-of-effect abilities early (e.g. Crowstorm Crowstorm, Slicing Maelstrom Slicing Maelstrom, Inferno Trigger Inferno Trigger) nor non-channeled ones (e.g. Center of the Universe Center of the Universe).

Notes
  • Applies Disintegrate.png spell damage if the swallowed target was an enemy champion and deals Death Lotus.png area damage if the swallowed target was a non-champion.
  • Regurgitate does not count as an ability activation.
  • Regurgitate can send allies to the other side of small walls.
  • If Regurgitate was cast automatically, Tahm Kench will spit the target in his facing direction.

While Thick Skin is available, and after taking no damage for 2.5 seconds, Tahm Kench rapidly Heal power icon.png heals for 30% − 100% (based on level) of his Grey Health over time. Each tick heals for 12 − 209 (based on level).

Active: Tahm Kench converts his current Grey Health into a Hybrid resistances icon.png shield that lasts for 2 seconds.

Notes
  • Thick Skin shield value and Grey Health percentage heal are both boosted by effects that increase heal and shield power. This means Tahm Kench can technically heal more than the normal amount of Grey Health and get a shield bigger than his maximum health.
    • At level 18 Tahm Kench would need 53.8% Heal power icon.png heal power to heal for 100% of the damage he takes, reduced to 34.9% with Revitalize Revitalize, 23.1% with Spirit Visage Spirit Visage, and 6.9% with both.
  • Grey Health converts all post-mitigation damage, Thick Skin effectively grants Tahm Kench a form of true damage mitigation.
  • Grey Health can temporarily exceed 100% of his missing health when Tahm Kench heals through other means with a Grey Health bar at 100%. In that case he will keep the higher Grey Health value for a few moments until it updates and removes the amount that he healed.

Active: Tahm Kench Channeling icon.png channels for up to 6 seconds, highlighting the path to his intended destination to allied champions while opening his maw to offer up to one of them the chance to come with him. Abyssal Voyage can be recast 0.25 seconds after starting the channel. If an ally has climbed in, they immediately become Playful.png untargetable and Tahm Kench automatically begins a 1.65-second Channeling icon.png channel that, when completed, renders Tahm Kench also Playful.png untargetable and causes him and his ally to Flash.png blink to the target location, both becoming unable to perform actions for 1 second and afterwards becoming targetable again.

Recast: Tahm Kench manually begins the channel to Flash.png blink to the target location. Allies can still join him while they have the chance during this time.

Abyssal Voyage is put on a 10 second Cooldown reduction icon.png cooldown if the second channel is not started or is Silence icon.png interrupted.

Allies must be out of combat with enemy champions within the last 5 seconds to come with Tahm Kench. Tahm Kench may also not start the channel if he has Devoured Devoured someone.
