- Coven Syndra was originally planned for release in patch 13.20 on October 11, 2023, but was delayed to patch 13.21 on October 25 due to player feedback and dissatisfaction with the initial skin model. Changes made to the model included:
- Hair color: Syndra's magenta hair was changed to a platinum blonde color to better match previous Coven skins.
- Spheres: Her spheres, initially resembling crushed crow feathers, were updated to a new texture, now featuring eyes inside runic symbols.
- Headdress: Her headdress was tweaked for a more symmetrical design, and its feathers, which previously obscured her face, were removed.
- Sigil: A runic sigil was added behind her head to match the splash art; the initial model lacked this feature.
- Changes were made to the skin's splash art and icon to match the updated hair color, spheres, and headdress design.
- Many adjustments were also made to the skin's chromas, including lighter hair colors in several of them, and green hues being implemented to the ruby chroma's model.
