Swap is category of cards in Legends of Runeterra that allows a unit to changes places with another, and by doing so, retargetting any committed spells, skills or attacks to that unit.

Another type of Swap cards are Swap Stats cards which allow a unit to exchange their Power and/or Health with that of another unit or its own Nexus.

Game Mechanic

• If the swap happens during combat, swapping a unit that struck with a unit that hasn't, the unit can strike again. However, the only card that can perform this is 2Ahri.
• In order to retarget committed actions, the Swap spell must be Burst or Fast.

Trivia

• There is only one swap spell (3 Bandle Balance) that allows you to exchange an allied unit for an enemy unit.
  • As it is a Slow spell, it won't retarget committed actions.
  • This card is exclusive to The Path of Champions
