Description

Passive: Damaging basic attacks, abilities, item effects, and summoner spells against an enemy

champion signal Aery to pounce at them over 0.45 seconds, dealing (+ 10% bonus AD) (+ 5% AP) physical or magic damage.

Healing,

shielding, or buffing an allied champion signals Aery to leap to their side over 0.35 seconds,

shielding them for (+ 10% bonus AD) (+ 5% AP) for 2 seconds.

Aery applies her effects to the affected champion upon arrival. She then lingers on the target for before flying back to the user, and cannot be sent out again until she returns. While on her way back, she is , but , and .

If「 10% bonus AD ≥ 5% AP, 」「 bonus AD ≥ 50% AP, 」deals physical damage. If otherwise, deals magic damage.

Notes

Aery's ally effect will trigger on all manner of buffs, including Ezreal's Essence Flux, Kindred's Lamb's Respite, Lulu's Whimsy, Nunu's Blood Boil and Mordekaiser's Harvester of Sorrow.
- Orianna's Command: Dissonance can trigger the allied effect both on activation and if an ally walks into the persistent area.
- Applying Nami's Surging Tides to an ally will not trigger Aery - i.e. you cannot hit an ally with Aqua Prison to grant them a shield.
Aery's shield will trigger Athene's Unholy Grail and Ardent Censer, allowing champions who otherwise do not have heals or shields to trigger the effects.
Aery will not trigger Ability effects or Muramana's Shock.
Aery will not shield an ally healed by Font of Life.

Strategy

Enchanters such as Nami, Lulu, Janna and Sona will find Summon Aery a great fit, improving both their harassment and protective capabilities.
Any champion looking to improve their early game trading can take Summon Aery for an extra source of damage.
- In comparison to other damage-granting keystones such as Arcane Comet and Electrocute, Summon Aery cannot miss, has a short cooldown and boosts your shields/buffs on allies. However, it has lower base damage and worse scaling for both champion level and offensive stats.
Aery is a great boost for damage over time abilities, as it can proc multiple times during the spell's effect. Common usages include Malzahar's Malefic Visions, Mordekaiser's Children of the Grave, Template:CaiPoison Trail and Teemo's Toxic Shot.

Trivia

When the champion Recalls, Aery will also play a recall animation.

- Passive: Damaging an enemy champion signals Aery to dash to them, dealing Template:Pp18 (+ 10% AP) (+ 15% bonus AD) (Adaptive) Adaptive damage. Abilities targeted at allied champions signal Aery to dash to them, shielding them for Template:Pp18 (+ 25% AP) (+ 40% bonus AD) (Adaptive) for 2 seconds.
- Aery lingers on the target for 2 second before flying back to you, and cannot be sent out again until she returns to you. Aery is initially very slow, but gradually accelerates, and can be picked up by moving near her.
- Adaptive: Deals either physical or magic depending on which would deal the least damage.
