Sudden Impact is a rune in

Notes
- "Going in combat by affecting an enemy champion" refers to any form of effect that makes you go in combat. This includes effects that don't deal damage (e.g Trundle's Pillar of Ice, placing Zilean's Time Bomb, Bard's Tempered Fate).
- The following elements will trigger Sudden Impact:
- Blast Cone
- Flash
- Hextech Protobelt-01
- Bard's Magical Journey (for any champion entering the tunnel)
- Ivern's Rootcaller's dash (does not work if used at point-blank)
- Senna's Curse of the Black Mist (as well as any champion entering Wraith Form)
- The effect does not trigger on lunges[1], as they only cause the champion to move in closer to their target, not necessarily "dash" in the traditional sense.
- Emerging from brush does not trigger Sudden Impact.
Strategy
- Kalista's Martial Poise will trigger Sudden Impact, allowing her to have it active whenever in combat with champions and when off cooldown.
- Hextech Protobelt-01 will trigger Sudden Impact, allowing champions that do not have any dash, blink, or that do not utilize stealth or Teleport, to activate the rune up to every 40 seconds. The cooldown can be further reduced with active item cooldown reduction such as Cosmic Insight or Ingenious Hunter.

- Lethality reduced to 7 from 10.
- Magic penetration reduced to 6 from 8.

- Domination Slot 1 rune.
- Passive: Damaging an enemy champion within 3 seconds of using a dash, blink or Teleport, or exiting from invisibility or camouflage, grants 10 Lethality and 8 Magic Penetration for the next 5 seconds.
- The triggering damage will also benefit from the penetration.
