Space Groove is a series of alternate future/universe skins in League of Legends. Set in a galaxy powered by a mysterious energy known as The Groove, champions fight back against Lissandra and her army of Harsh Vibes to keep things groovy.

In a groovy galaxy a million disco infernos away, a mysterious energy known only as The Groove brings music and prosperity to trillions of galactic citizens. But when the alien overlord

Lissandra and her army of Harsh Vibes begin to enslave planets and suppress disco music, a new age of heroes rises to stop her, and keep the party grooving.

The Groove

Space Groove Gragas
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Tanzanite
The King of Cool, Gragas is one guy who knows how to party. Bringing the funk with him everywhere he goes, even the denizens of Boogiewonderland acknowledge his prowess for groovin'. If Gragas rolls up to the disco, you know you're in for a wild night.
Space Groove Gwen
Chromas: Catseye, Citrine, Disco, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
It was pretty far out when Gwen applied to be Lux and Samira's quartermaster—after all, no one else did. Cheerfully sewing good vibes into great clothes, she amplifies disco energy through her nifty threads. Though she's new to this whole galactic hero gig, one thing's for sure: no way Gwen lets her friends liberate the galaxy in less-than-stellar outfits.
Space Groove Lulu
Chromas: Aquamarine, Citrine, Disco, Obsidian, Peridot, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Tanzanite, Turquoise
Hailing from Boogie Wonderland, a planet of Pure Groove, Lulu is uniquely attuned to the resonance of cosmic disco energy. Using her staff to conjure visions of freedom and abandon to the beat of the music, she can get even the most left-footed creatures in the galaxy tapping along.

  Fresh off a visit from the Three Party Goddesses in the center of the galaxy, Lulu's more in tune with the Groove than ever. Her visions are even more potent, her beats are even more irresistible, and no one knows where Lulu's going to pop up next.
Space Groove Lux
Chromas: Amethyst, Citrine, Disco, Emerald, Obsidian, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
A normal girl from the Normal World, Lux picked up a groove-enhancing staff to defend her planet from the Harsh Vibes… inadvertently discovering she could channel mighty blasts of concentrated disco music. Sailing into space with her mercenary bodyguard, Samira, Lux now stands as the bubbly bastion of good against an evil alien armada and their terrible taste in music.
Space Groove Nami
Chromas: Citrine, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
Fashioning herself as the Siren of the Cosmic Hot Tub, Nami's songs have crowds from across the galaxy flocking to catch one of her sets. So when the organizers of The Jam asked her to perform her songs at the most stellar of interstellar discos, her enthusiastic “Yes!” was a no-brainer.

  Nami has been serving up splashy looks at the Gala for a long time and has never been one to swim with the current trends. This season, she's showcasing her musical side, hoping to push the show to a new, groovier beat. With a stage as nice as the Gala's, why not dance on it?
Space Groove Nasus

A storied disc jockey, music librarian, and leader of the Dog Planet, Nasus was once under Lissandra's thrall—seizing all his people's grooviest records and hiding them away, never to be heard again. Yet now, with his heart opened to the power of disco, he leads his people in rebellion against the deadly shock troopers Blitz & Crank.
Space Groove Nunu & Willump
Chromas: Catseye, Disco, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Turquoise
Blessed with the strongest boogie-channeling abilities his planet had ever seen, Willump had been recruited by Lissandra to convert good vibes into harsh ones. But when he met Nunu during the siege of Normal World, Willump broke free of Lissandra's control and the two deserted to travel the galaxy, and bring good vibes back to the universe.
Space Groove Ornn
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
The drop before the bass, the creator of the primordial instruments, a literal God of Groove, Ornn has been instrumental in spreading The Groove through the Galaxy. But he's not a fan of the celebrity status it's earned him, hermiting himself away on a planet of whirling pools of goo to focus on his work. If Ornn is coming to party, it better be legendary.
Space Groove Rumble
Chromas: Amethyst, Aquamarine, Catseye, Disco, Emerald, Obsidian, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Turquoise
The Retro-Futuristic Planet is tired of listening to the boring music brought by Lissandra's evil influence. Fashioning a Groove suit of his own design, Rumble now stomps across his adoptive homeworld, unleashing powerful rockets and a groovy bass track on anyone who'd keep the people from dancing.
Space Groove Samira
Chromas: Amethyst, Aquamarine, Disco, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby
A groovy, thrill-seeking bodyguard and elite warrior from the Hot Tub Nebula, Samira took a job directly from the Three Party Goddesses to save Lux from an impending invasion of the Normal World. Now, as the pair liberate planets across the galaxy, Samira must do everything in her power to keep Lux safe—both from Lissandra and from Lux's own lack of self preservation instincts.
Space Groove Taric
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Turquoise
Taric always found himself wanting more out of life and dreamed of discovering what was beyond his mundane world. His wish was granted when Teemo arrived on his planet and swept him off on an adventure. He's now found a place for himself as Ornn's apprentice as he works to understand the concept of Groove.
Space Groove Teemo
Chromas: Catseye, Obsidian, Peridot, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby
Hailing from Boogiewonderland, Teemo is so absorbed in The Groove that he is The Groove, literally. Leader of the Groove Guard, Captain Teemo scouts and maps the galaxy, trailing smaller boogies in his wake. His dream: to connect all the planets he can to the Hyperfunk Supervibeway.
Space Groove Twisted Fate
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Rainbow, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Tanzanite, Turquoise
He may be a scoundrel, but Twisted Fate is known the galaxy over as someone who gets things done. But even he can't find a trace of his long lost partner, Graves. So when some cats offered him intel on Graves' whereabouts in exchange for the location of the legendary underground disco, The Jam, he happily obliged. What's a few party crashers, anyway?

Harsh Vibes

Space Groove Lissandra

Brutal alien leader of the Harsh Vibes, Lissandra subjugates planets rich in The Groove for her own nefarious purposes—banning disco and steeping the entire galaxy in Muzak. She and her army of roller-skating derby goons will stop at nothing to eliminate disco forever. But for her latest scheme to work, she's going to need an invite to the disco to end all discos: The Jam.
Space Groove Blitz & Crank
Chromas: Amethyst, Catseye, Disco, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby
Blitz and Crank are Cat Planet's fiercest warriors, and work together seamlessly (mostly) to pilot their mech, Blitzcrank. While Crank believes that he can overcome his lack of rhythm with the help of his exuberant copilot, Blitz is… well… he's busy dancing to his own beat. Together they plan to take over Dog Planet and claim its sunbeams for themselves.

- Space Groove Blitz & Crank, Space Groove Lux, Space Groove Nasus, and Space Groove Lulu were included in some of Riot's surveys for new thematics in 2020.
Space Groove Blitz & Crank is piloted by two cats named Blitz, the orange cat, and Crank, the black cat.
Space Groove Blitz & Crank was inspired by Riot artist Oscar Vega's cats, Wi-Fi and Jon Bovi.^[3]
Space Groove Lissandra is part of this universe, where she is an alien overlord, who wishes to enslave planets and suppress disco music.
- Willump was under Space Groove Lissandra control, but broke free when he met Nunu.
Samira is Lux's bodyguard in this universe.
