Deceive Deceive and Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison also have additional effects when they strike an enemy from behind. Backstab is affected by Critical strike icon.png critical strike modifiers.

Active: Shaco becomes Akali Twilight Shroud old2.png invisible for a few seconds, and after a 0.125-second delay, Flash.png blinks to the target location.

Invisibility Duration:
2.5 / 2.75 / 3 / 3.25 / 3.5

After breaking the invisibility, Shaco's next basic attack within 0.25 seconds deals bonus physical damage. The damage is affected by Critical strike icon.png critical strike modifiers.

Physical Damage:
25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 (+ 25% bonus AD)

Deceive's Akali Twilight Shroud old2.png invisibility breaks when Shaco uses a basic attack or casts Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison, but not from casting Hallucinate Hallucinate. Casting Jack in the Box Jack in the Box causes Shaco to briefly shimmer instead, revealing his position to enemies.

Backstab Backstab: Guarantees the basic attack to Critical strike icon.png critically strike for (30% + 35% 35%) bonus physical damage.

Tips & Tricks
  • Prowler's Claw's Prowler's Claw's Active does not break stealth, allowing the assassin item to combine well with Deceive's invisibility and gap-closing ways.

Active: Shaco summons a Jack in the Box at the target location which becomes Teemo Noxious Trap.png stealthed after arming over 2 seconds, lasting for up to 40 (+ 5% AP) seconds. The box is Taric Cosmic Radiance.png invulnerable and Fizz Playful.png untargetable to enemies while stealthed.

The box will pop out upon enemy contact, causing all nearby enemies at the time of its trigger to Flee icon.png flee from it and have their Movement speed icon.png movement speed reduced for 2 seconds, modified against Champion icon.png champions, who are also Root icon.png rooted for 0.5 seconds. Enemy champions have their movement speed set to a static 100, reduced to a static 60 for non-champions.

Champion Disable Duration:
0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5

Once triggered, the box will automatically start firing every 0.5 seconds at all nearby Sight icon.png visible enemies, dealing magic damage with each attack, increased against Monster icon.png monsters and reduced by 50% against Turret icon.png structures. If the box attacks only one unit, it deals increased damage.

  • The flee starts at the same time as the root, but since the target cannot move while rooted the effective duration of the flee is reduced by the root.
  • Static movement speed cannot be modified (e.g. with Slow immune icon.png slow resist or Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed).
    • This effect can be negated if the target is Slow immune 2.png slow-immune.
  • Upon becoming Teemo Noxious Trap.png stealthed, the box creates a puff of smoke and a distinct sound that can be detected through the fog of war.
  • The box is Fizz Playful.png untargetable and Taric Cosmic Radiance.png invulnerable so long as it is in Teemo Guerrilla Warfare.png stealth. Effects that reveal Teemo Noxious Trap.png stealthed traps will render the box targetable and vulnerable while it can be seen.

Active: Shaco Shaco Hallucinate.png vanishes for 0.5 seconds and then Flash.png blinks in the target direction while creating a copy of himself that blinks in the opposite direction, remaining within control range of him as a controllable Shaco Command- Hallucinate.png clone for up to 18 seconds. Hallucinate can be recast at any time while the Shaco Command- Hallucinate.png clone is alive.

Recast: Shaco commands the Shaco Command- Hallucinate.png clone to move to the target location.

When the Hallucination dies or expires, it explodes, dealing magic damage to enemies near it and leaving behind three mini-boxes mini-boxes at its location which activate instantly, causing nearby enemies to Flee icon.png flee from them for 1 second.

Magic Damage:
150 / 225 / 300 (+ 70% AP)

The three boxes possess Jack in the Box's effects, except they have a doubled, but shared Health icon.png health, and deal modified magic damage with each attack, increased if attacking a single unit.

Hallucinate's recast can be used while affected by Silence icon.png cast-inhibiting crowd control.

Hallucination is visually identical from Shaco to enemies (remains different to him and his allies)

Seeing Double

Hallucination benefits from Shaco's items but not from his runes.
It does propagate its own auras (e.g. Bami's Cinder item.png Immolate, Frozen Heart Frozen Heart). Immolate will not stack with Shaco's, unlike how other Immolates do.
Shaco's buffs will be shown on the clone but won't work (i.e Crest of Cinders Crest of Cinders).

Surprise!

Hallucination explodes upon expiring or dying, dealing magic damage to all enemies around it and dropping three mini-boxes mini-boxes around itself which activate instantly, causing nearby enemies to Flee icon.png flee from them for 1 second.
