Brackern[]

Surrounded around the Shuriman Continent are several clans of Brackern, including clans in the Shuriman desert.

Dormun[]

The Dormun are gigantic, slow-moving creatures protected with large chitinous plates covering their body. In the harsh conditions of Shurima they have evolved to survive the perpetual drought by utilizing an unknown sense to locate hidden reservoirs of water. Incidentally, certain nomadic tribes have built themselves a permanent home upon the backs of these beasts where they clean the creature and hunt any airborne pests who venture near.

Eka'Sul[]

Desert goats that travel in herds.

Mwatis[]

Mwatis are goatlike creatures with large plated casques on their heads. Mwati wool and plate are prised for felting and insulation.

Kmiros[]

Gigantic scarabs that roam in swarms, looking for unfortunate travelers to feed on. They seem to be common prey for Rammus Rammus.

Outerbeasts[]

Beside the Xer'Sai, other creatures from the Void, referred to as 'outerbeasts', can be found in the desert.

  • Xer'Sai: Creatures from the Void that plague the southern deserts. They are the size of big dogs on average, but can be smaller or much bigger. Rek'Sai Rek'Sai, as the queen, is by far the largest and most dangerous of her species. Xer'sai burst from their small burrows and ravage anything nearby, to the detriment of desert caravans. Once dead, the Xer'sai decompose at an abnormally rapid rate and become inedible.

Ralsiji[]

Large and aggressive minotaur-like creatures. They are humpbacked quadrupeds with long limbs and thick horns.

Shuriman Camel[]

A breed of camels native to the deserts of Shurima and are used by caravans as well as common folk as primary mode of transportation. Despite being well-suited for lengthy travels in the desert landscape, they are still prey to a many predator such as the Xer'Sai.

Sandswimmers[]

Sandswimmers

Sandswimmers are massive quadrupedal creatures that traverse the Shuriman desert in cyclical patterns. They got their name due to their preferred method of travel. Their narrow bodies and webbed feet are perfectly design for swimming under the sand. They feed on bugs and other small creatures most desert beasts ignore. Scavengers will often memorize the predictable paths these creatures take, and jump onto their backs to ride as far as they wish.


Skallashi[]

The Skallashi are large quadrupedal herbivores. These hardy beasts of burden are common across Shurima, ideally suited to the harsh desert environment. Their key body feature is their long legs. Notoriously bad-tempered, they are nevertheless treated with great reverence. Their brown hides are often painted with sacred symbols of protection, and their horns hung with totems and charms. While these creatures are mostly used for travel and carrying heavy loads, on some larger skallashi people are able to built miniature rooms for more comfortable travel. To own one is often considered a sign of considerable prosperity.

Backstab is affected by critical strike modifiers.

Deceive Deceive and Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison have additional effects when they hit an enemy from behind.

Invisibility Duration:

Deceive's invisibility breaks when Shaco uses a basic attack or casts Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison, but not from casting Jack in the Box Jack in the Box or Hallucinate Hallucinate.

After breaking the invisibility, Shaco empowers his next basic attack within 0.25 seconds to deal Champions killed from outside standard Attack rangebonus physical damage, which is affected by critical strike modifiers.

Bonus Physical Damage:
25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 Champions stunned with Pyromania (P)(+ 60% bonus AD)

Active: Shaco summons a box at the target location that becomes stealthed after arming over 2 seconds, lasting for up to 40 Multiple champions hit with Between Worlds (R)(+ 10% AP) seconds. The box is invulnerable and untargetable to enemies while stealthed.

The box will spring out upon enemy contact, fearing nearby enemies for a duration, modified to 2.2 seconds against non-champions, and rooting them for a duration, modified to a 1 second root against non-champions. After a 0.15-second delay of the box's activation, enemies hit also have their  Champions killed 5s before or after using Chronobreak (R)movement speed reduced. Enemy champions have their Champions killed 5s before or after using Chronobreak (R)movement speed set to a inheritstatic 100 for the same duration as the fear plus 0.25 seconds, while non-champions are set to a inheritstatic 60 for 2.35 seconds.

If the box attacks only one target, it deals increased damage. Boxes deal Damage mitigated with Shifting Sands (E)bonus magic damage to monsters and 50% reduced damage to structures.

  • The root and fear are applied at the same time. The target cannot be forced to move by the fear during the root.
    • The target is however allowed to move despite being rooted for the first 0.1 seconds of the root. They can be forced to move by the fear during this time.
  • Static movement speed cannot be modified (e.g. with slow resist or  bonus movement speed).
    • This effect can be negated if the target is slow-immune.
  • The box is untargetable and invulnerable so long as it is in stealth. Effects that reveal stealthed traps will render the box targetable and vulnerable while it can be seen.

Hallucinate

Active: Shaco vanishes for 0.5 seconds and blinks in the target direction while creating a clone of himself that is summoned in the opposite direction, remaining within control range of him as a controllable clone for up to 18 seconds.

Hallucinate can be recast at any time while the clone is alive, and can be used while affected by cast-inhibiting crowd control.

Recast: Shaco commands the clone to move to the target location.

The clone will explode upon dying or expiring to deal Damage mitigated with Shifting Sands (E)magic damage to nearby enemies and deploy three mini-boxes mini-boxes that activate instantly, fearing nearby enemies for 1.25 seconds, increased to 2.2 seconds against non-champions, and rooting them for 0.5 seconds, increased to 0.6 seconds against monsters and 1 second against minions. After a 0.15-second delay of the boxes' activation, enemies hit also have their Champions killed 5s before or after using Chronobreak (R)movement speed reduced. Enemy champions have their Champions killed 5s before or after using Chronobreak (R)movement speed set to a inheritstatic 100, while non-champions are set to a inheritstatic 60. Pop Goes the Weasel

Upon activation, the box springs into action, causing all enemies in range to flee from it, as well as attacking nearby enemies before expiring or upon being destroyed. Targets are also briefly rooted.

Obscurity

The box is untargetable and invulnerable while hidden from view.

On-hit effects Hallucination's attacks apply on-hit effects (do not apply on-attack effects). Hallucination's attacks are mitigated by block and dodge, as well as stopped by disarm and negated if Shaco is blinded.

Protection
  • Hallucination's attacks deal 60% damage to units (halved to 30% against structures).
  • Spell shields will block Hallucination's explosion damage.

Abilities

Clone

For enemies, Hallucination is supposed to be visually identical to Shaco. For himself and allies, the clone remains visually distinct.

Mimic

Hallucination can mimic the casting of Deceive Deceive, Jack in the Box Jack in the Box and Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison:

  • When the clone blinks by any means, such as if it exits Shaco's leash range, it will play Deceive's Deceive's entering stealth "cloud" VFX (without actually gaining its effects, of course).
  • If the clone is within 300 units of Shaco when he casts Jack in the Box Jack in the Box, it will play the ability's cast animation of placing the box.
  • If the clone is within 575 units of Shaco's target for Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison when the ability is cast, it will play the ability's cast animation of throwing the dagger in addition to firing a fake missile at the target. This missile has no effect on the target when it arrives.
Seeing Double

Hallucination benefits from Shaco's items but not from his runes. It propagates its own auras, but the effects will not stack between Shaco and Hallucination. Shaco's buffs will be visually copied on the clone's status bar. Lastly, if Shaco's model is affected by a visual buff or debuff when Hallucination is created, then the clone will also also copy that visual aspect.

Surprise!

Hallucination explodes upon expiring or dying, dealing magic damage to all enemies around it and dropping three mini-boxes mini-boxes around itself which activate instantly, causing nearby enemies to flee from them, as well as attacking nearby enemies before expiring or upon being destroyed. Targets are also briefly rooted.

  • ERROR: Shaco's eyes are mistakenly colored purple on his uncentered splash art, Loading screen, Square, and Circle assets. They are supposed to be blue, as shown in his model, newest emotes, Illustration and Champie icons, centered splash art, and old splash art.
  • Shaco is one of a few champions to have multiple textures in one skin. When he uses Hallucinate Hallucinate, his clone will be of a different colour palette which can only be seen by Shaco and his allies. To the opposing team, the two Shacos look exactly the same, including copies of any external buffs and item effects active at the moment the clone is spawned (Prior to patch V5.22, clones did not duplicate external buff/active item effect particles).
  • Shaco's dance references The Worm, a breakdance move.

  • Shaco might be referencing the Harlequin Crest from Diablo.
