Innate - Icebreaker: Enemies stunned by Sejuani are marked Frozen for the disable's duration. Sejuani's next basic attack or ability against a Frozen enemy will consume the mark to deal bonus magic damage equal to 10% of their maximum health, capped at 300 against epic monsters.
Innate - Frost Armor:Sejuani gains Frost Armor, which lingers for 3 seconds after taking damage from enemy champions or monsters. She restores it after 12 − 6 (based on level) without taking damage from them.
Passive:Winter's Wrath and both Sejuani's and nearby allied melee champions' attacks on-hit apply stacks of Frost to enemy champions, medium / large monsters and large minions for 5 seconds, which refreshes on subsequent hits and stacks up to 4 times.
Sejuani can cast Permafrost against an enemy with 4 stacks.
Active:Sejuani hurls a trap at the visible enemy with 4 stacks of Frost closest to the cursor, which upon arrival consumes all their stacks to deal magic damage, knock them down, and stun them for 1 second.
55 / 105 / 155 / 205 / 255 (+ 60% AP)
Enemies can be affected by Frost only once every 10 seconds after it is consumed from them.
Permafrost's targeting prioritizes champions within 50 of cursor, then non-champions within 50 of cursor, then champions within 350 of cursor, then closest unit to cursor within 2500 (this only applies if there is no target directly under the cursor).
Frost stacks will not be applied if the basic attack is blocked.
Active:Sejuani throws an ice bola in the target direction that stops upon hitting an enemy champion, dealing magic damage and stunning them for 1 second.
125 / 150 / 175 (+ 40% AP)
If the bola travels over 400 units, it becomes empowered to detonate upon reaching maximum range or hitting an enemy champion, dealing increased damage and stunning for 1.5 seconds instead. For the same duration, a frost storm is created that slows enemies within by 30% and grants sight of the area in a smaller radius.
Increased Magic Damage:
200 / 300 / 400 (+ 80% AP)
Afterwards, the storm shatters to deal magic damage to enemies hit and slow them by 80% for 1 second, as well as revealing them and granting sight of the area for 0.5 seconds.
200 / 300 / 400 (+ 80% AP)
The enemy hit by the bola is not affected by the storm's effects.
Sejuani is the brutal, unforgiving Iceborn warmother of the Winter’s Claw, one of the most feared tribes of the Freljord. Her people’s survival is a constant, desperate battle against the elements, forcing them to raid Noxians, Demacians, and Avarosans alike to survive the harsh winters. Sejuani herself spearheads the most dangerous of these attacks from the saddle of her drüvask boar Bristle, using her True Ice flail to freeze and shatter her enemies.
Stranded as a child in the Poro King's enchanted Winterlands, Sejuani was taken in by the poros and raised as their own. She is now one of their greatest champions, riding a slobbery, snack-obsessed war poro against any who would threaten her adoptive home.
A beast tamer as well as hunter, Sejuani rides her trusty mount Bristle into the thick of combat before snaring massive creatures in the chain of her flail. An almost supernaturally strong woman, she can—temporarily—hold down beasts weighing several tons, which is exactly the window her fellow hunters need.
Riding her dire lion into the thick of combat, Sejuani Dawnchaser is an intimidating foe for all but the greatest Riftquest threats. Sadly not the most careful roleplayer, she's on her fourth dire lion this campaign.
Charging forth on her giant pig and swinging a whip made from low-grade explosives, Sejuani has firmly cemented herself as the woman to watch this Lunar Revel. Because if you're not watching her she'll trample you, and you'll die.
A merchant tycoon hailing from the top echelons of Piltovan society, Sejuani paved the way for the manufacture of hextech mounts. Often seen atop the back of her trusted stead, Bristech, she surveys the gilded streets of her magnificent city, always on the lookout to recruit young innovators who dare to push the boundaries of science and engineering.
The leader of a more radicalized sect of the G/NETIC rebels, Sejuani broke off from Ashe's movement when their 'resistance action' failed to turn explicitly violent. Resurfacing amid Program's takeover of the City, she rides a piece of reclaimed pre-collapse technology alongside her ferocious cohort, ready to put down this new threat before it takes root.
Targeting changed to "Prioritizes champions within 50 of cursor, then non-champions within 50 of cursor, then champions within 350 of cursor, then closest unit to cursor within 2500 (this only applies if there is no target directly under your cursor)" from 250 for all targets.
Frost Armor:Sejuani receives Frost Armor if she hasn't taken damage in the last 9 seconds, lingering for 1 / 2 / 3 (based on level) seconds after taking damage from enemy champions. Frost Armor engulfs Bristle in True Ice, becoming immune to slows and gains 100 (+ 100% total armor)bonus armor and 100 (+ 100% total magic resistance)bonus magic resistance.
Icebreaker: Enemies stunned by Sejuani are frozen. Sejuani's next basic attack or ability against them deals 10 / 15 / 20 (based on level)% of their maximum health as bonus magic damage, or 400 against minions and monsters.
Rework: After a 0.25-seconds delay, Sejuani swings her flail in a cone in the target direction, dealing 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 (+ 1.5% maximum health) physical damage to all enemies hit and knocking back minions and monsters. She then lashes out with her flail after 0.75 seconds in a straight line in the same direction, dealing 40 / 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 (+ 4.5% maximum health) additional physical damage and briefly slowing to all enemies hit. Sejuani can move freely during Winter's Wrath. Both swings will strike in the cast direction, but their hitboxes follow Sejuani's movement.
Cooldown reduced to 120 / 100 / 80 seconds from 130 / 115 / 100.
Rework:Sejuani throws a True Ice bola in a line, dealing 100 / 125 / 150 (+ 40% AP) magic damage and stunning for 1 second the first enemy champion that collides with. The bola's base damage increases the further it travels, up to 150 / 187.5 / 225. If the bola travels before exploding it stuns enemies hit for 2 seconds. The bola shatters upon collision or reaching maximum range, creating a storm for 2 seconds, slowing other enemies by 30%. At the end of the duration the storm shatters the ground, deals 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 80% AP) magic damage and slowing by 80% for 3 seconds.
Her name resembles that of Roman equestrianSejanus'; from theonym Seia, Roman goddess of sown seeds, from Proto-Indo-European *seh₁-.
Her direct ancestor Serylda's name comes from two Germanic roots: *sarwo "armor, equipment" and *hildiz "fight, battle".
In Sejuani's Art Spotlight, the artist names the layer that has the boar on it "Piggles". A screenshot can be seen here.
If Ashe, Lissandra, and/or Sejuani are played on opposing teams, Battle for Freljord will trigger. This in-game quest consists in one killing the other to earn the title of 'Queen of Freljord' (complete with a floating ice crown floating above their heads) referencing the civil war taking place there, between the three tribes each lead.
Sejuani is the only champion in the game that does not have a standard magic resistance scaling (30-38.5 or 32.1-53.35), though she does share this trait with Mega Gnar as he has different base stats to Gnar
