"I thought maybe you could love me like you used to. Even though I'm... different. But you changed too. So, here's to the new us."
In Dev Update - Champs, Lore & More, Laura 'poisonpixxi' DeYoung, Head of IP Creative for Riot Games, elaborated on their new approach to narrative cohesiveness by ironing out any inconsistencies that have sprung up over the years.
This article contains information that conflicts with this new narrative and will most likely be changed/moved in the following year(s).
Surrounded around the Shuriman Continent are several clans of Brackern, including clans in the Shuriman desert.

The Dormun are gigantic, slow-moving creatures protected with large chitinous plates covering their body. In the harsh conditions of Shurima they have evolved to survive the perpetual drought by utilizing an unknown sense to locate hidden reservoirs of water. Incidentally, certain nomadic tribes have built themselves a permanent home upon the backs of these beasts where they clean the creature and hunt any airborne pests who venture near.
Eka'Sul[]
Desert goats that travel in herds.
Mwatis[]
Mwatis are goatlike creatures with large plated casques on their heads. Mwati wool and plate are prised for felting and insulation.
Kmiros[]
Gigantic scarabs that roam in swarms, looking for unfortunate travelers to feed on. They seem to be common prey for Rammus.
Beside the Xer'Sai, other creatures from the Void, referred to as 'outerbeasts', can be found in the desert.
Xer'Sai: Creatures from the Void that plague the southern deserts. They are the size of big dogs on average, but can be smaller or much bigger. Rek'Sai, as the queen, is by far the largest and most dangerous of her species. Xer'sai burst from their small burrows and ravage anything nearby, to the detriment of desert caravans. Once dead, the Xer'sai decompose at an abnormally rapid rate and become inedible.

Large and aggressive minotaur-like creatures. They are humpbacked quadrupeds with long limbs and thick horns.
Shuriman Camel[]
A breed of camels native to the deserts of Shurima and are used by caravans as well as common folk as primary mode of transportation. Despite being well-suited for lengthy travels in the desert landscape, they are still prey to a many predator such as the Xer'Sai.
Sandswimmers[]
Sandswimmers
Sandswimmers are massive quadrupedal creatures that traverse the Shuriman desert in cyclical patterns. They got their name due to their preferred method of travel. Their narrow bodies and webbed feet are perfectly design for swimming under the sand. They feed on bugs and other small creatures most desert beasts ignore. Scavengers will often memorize the predictable paths these creatures take, and jump onto their backs to ride as far as they wish.

The Skallashi are large quadrupedal herbivores. These hardy beasts of burden are common across Shurima, ideally suited to the harsh desert environment. Their key body feature is their long legs. Notoriously bad-tempered, they are nevertheless treated with great reverence. Their brown hides are often painted with sacred symbols of protection, and their horns hung with totems and charms. While these creatures are mostly used for travel and carrying heavy loads, on some larger skallashi people are able to built miniature rooms for more comfortable travel. To own one is often considered a sign of considerable prosperity.
Rumble is a young inventor with a temper. Using nothing more than his own two hands and a heap of scrap, the feisty yordle constructed a colossal mech suit outfitted with an arsenal of electrified harpoons and incendiary rockets. Though others may scoff and sneer at his junkyard creations, Rumble doesn't mind—after all, he's the one with the flamespitter.
"Ugh, it's gonna take forever to scrape your face off my suit!"— Rumble
Born in Bandle City, Rumble was bullied by his fellow yordles when he was younger, making him irritable and scrappy. He found solace in tinkering using discarded junk in the junkyard.
Rumble's teachers recommended him to go to Heimerdinger's Yordle Academy of Science and Progress in Piltover, but Rumble rejected it, seeing Heimerdinger and his staff as sellouts for wasting the potential of yordle technology for humans. However, this did not stop him from trying to greet Heimerdinger's human students whom had travelled to Bandle City. Unfortunately for him, the interaction culminated in him getting beaten up and hearing how much of an embarrassment he was to "enlightened" yordles like Heimerdinger. The next day, Rumble left Bandle City for several months. He returned with his mech Tristy, that he had constructed from scavenged junk, eager to show what yordle technology was capable of.
Disguising himself as an elderly merchant, Rumble visited Nashramae, Shurima to purchase wares from the other merchants. His cart was bumped into by a Shuriman cripple named Anaktu, whom was being bullied by the governor's stepson Kesu Rance and his friends. Initially indifferent towards Anaktu, Rumble took offense when Kesu began insulting him as well. He walked to his stall to activate Tristy in order to intimidate the bullies, but the mech began to malfunction, causing the bullies to attack the mech and taunt Rumble. Anaktu grabbed a mace from Rumble's stall to defend him, before swinging it at the bullies. As Kesu was about to attack him, Rumble came to Anaktu's defense with an electrified harpoon. Warming up to Anaktu, Rumble invited him to ride on his mech, letting him activate the flamespitter and inviting him to watch his Equalizer fire its rockets, barring off Kesu's escape route. Anaktu asked Kesu why he was bullying him, with the latter confessing he wanted to impress his Noxian father. With Rumble's glamour expiring, the yordle threatened Kesu with a harpoon, demanding him to apologize to him. Kesu tried to apologise for his bullying, but Rumble told him that he disrespected junk and how it had so much potential. After Kesu dumbfoundedly apologized, Rumble decided to return to Bandle City. Anaktu offered to return his mace, but Rumble let him keep it out of respect towards his appreciation of junk.
Appearance[]
Rumble disguises himself as a travelling merchant. He wears a cape and vest with short sleeves. He wears very large boots which disappear beneath his vest. Like most male Yordles, he is covered in fur.
Personality[]
Because he was bullied by others, it made him irritable, resourceful and scrappy, and make him build a mech so that no one would look down on him again.
Abilities[]
Yordle Physiology: Rumble is a Yordle, a being coming from the Spirit Realm and possesses several abilities natural of his species.
Immortality: Being spiritual beings, Yordles don't age the same way as normal humans, and they can't normally die.
Yordle Magic: Just like any Yordle, Rumble is capable of performing yordle magic, which he utilizes in tandem with his skills as an inventor.
Rumble is a resourceful yordle mechanic who is convinced Bandle City can be (if not is already) more technologically advanced than human nations (especially Piltover, where Heimerdinger 'sold out')
To prove that he is more technologically advanced than human nations, he built himself a mechanized suit from junkyard scrap (named Tristy after the one he has a crush on).
