Randuin's Omen is a legendary item in League of Legends.[1]

Recipe

Strategy

  • Randuin's Omen Randuin's Omen's unique passive slows attack speed by a greater margin (−35%) than Frozen Heart Frozen Heart (−20%), but requires being hit an average of 3.11 (log .5/log .8) times before triggering (solution of 0.8^n = .5 => how many attacks does it take until the probability of accruing 0 procs drops to .5?).
  • With the added bonus of a significant slowing effect, Randuin's Omen Randuin's Omen can win teamfights against a team of heavy melee autoattackers.
  • It is worth mentioning that Warden's Mail Warden's Mail, Frozen Heart Frozen Heart, and Randuin's Omen Randuin's Omen are the only items that can reduce attack speed.
  • The actual formula for Randuin's Omen Randuin's Omen's active duration is 2 + (armor + magic resistance)/200 seconds, which means that every point of armor or magic resistance increases the duration and not just steps of 100.[2]
