Innate: Periodically, Rakan generates a 30 − 225 (based on level) (+ 85% AP) Hybrid resistances icon.png shield that lasts until broken. After being out of combat for 5 seconds, any leftover shield will be restored to maximum value.

Rakan's basic attacks and ability hits Cooldown reduction icon.png reduce Fey Feathers' cooldown by 1 second for each enemy Champion icon.png champion hit.

Innate - Lover's Leap: If either Rakan or Xayah Xayah is channeling Recall Recall, the other may move nearby and channel their own to join alongside them. Both reach base at the time of which the initiator's Recall Recall completes.

During this time, Rakan deals magic damage to enemies he collides with and Charm icon.png charms and Slow icon.png slows them by 75% for a duration. This cannot affect the same enemy more than once.

Colliding with an enemy Champion icon.png champion extends The Quickness' duration by 0.25 seconds, which can occur once per champion. When Rakan collides with his first enemy Champion icon.png champion, he gains an additional Movement speed icon.png 75% bonus movement speed that decays after 0.5 seconds by 20% every 0.5 seconds, then by 15% after decaying by 60% over 1.5 seconds.

During The Quickness, Rakan cannot basic attack enemy champions he did not collide with, unless the attack command was inputted before the ability was activated.

To the humans of the Ionian highlands, his name has long been synonymous with wild festivals, uncontrollable parties, and anarchic music. Few would suspect this energetic, traveling showman is also partner to the rebel Xayah, and is dedicated to her cause.

    Trivia

    • Rakan's and Xayah's Xayah's dual release is the first one since V1.0.0.72.
    • Rakan's and Xayah's loading screens always align themselves to the rightmost side before a game starts and when picked on the same team (to mirror their shared splash art).
    • Rakan's cloak is actually his wings disguised by Vastayan magic in order to blend in with humans.
    • Rakan and Xayah are sometimes depicted together with combined wings. The one-winged Jian bird in Chinese mythology has a similar codependency, which represents the bond of two lovers.
    • Rakan has the lowest basic attack range amongst Ranged role.png ranged champions (300 units).
    • Rakan's favorite human food is chocolate; even though chocolate's theobromine may poison Rakan due to his half-bird physiology, his human half may help metabolize the compound & alleviate its effects.
    • Rakan's dance references Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley.
