Strategy

  • Presence of Mind is often taken on the Howling Abyss, as the single lane setup causes regular teamfights leading to a lot of takedowns, thus triggering more times than the average Summoner's Rift game.
  • Champion icon.png Champions with a much higher reliance on having enough Mana resource.png mana (e.g, Ryze Ryze, Kassadin Kassadin, Anivia Anivia) to use their resourceful abilities have the best utilization of Presence of Mind for its listed benefits.

    • Damaging an enemy champion increases your mana regeneration by 1.5 − 11 (based on level) mana per second, reduced to 80% effectiveness for Ranged role.png ranged champions, for 4 seconds. When triggering this effect, energy users regenerate 1.5 energy per second, instead.
    • Damage rating.png Takedowns restore 15% of your maximum mana or 15% of your maximum energy.

    • Champion Damage rating.png takedowns, after a 1-second delay, restore 20% of your maximum mana or 20% of your maximum energy and increase maximum mana by 100 or maximum energy by 10, stacking up to 5 times for a maximum of 500 maximum mana or 50 maximum energy.
