Mark was previously a designer working at Treyarch on Call of Duty: Black Ops II before joining Riot in 2013. He was previously the Lead Champion Update Designer overseeing the , , , , Juggernaut, and Marksmen updates. Mark then became the Lead Champion Designer at Riot and oversaw the production and design of new champions and champion updates. He was promoted to the position of Lead Gameplay Designer after Andrei 'Meddler' van Roon became the Design Director of League of Legends. As the Lead Gameplay Designer, Mark managed design for new champions, champion updates, game balance, items, runes, Summoner's Rift, preseason, matchmaking, ranked and player behavior. In 2021, Mark announced that he would become the Game Director of the League of Legends MMO.
