Mark was previously a designer working at Treyarch on Call of Duty: Black Ops II before joining Riot in 2013. He was previously the Lead Champion Update Designer overseeing the , , , , Juggernaut, and Marksmen updates. Mark later became the Lead Champion Designer at Riot and oversaw the production and design of new champions and champion updates. He was later promoted to the position of Lead Gameplay Designer after Andrei 'Meddler' van Roon became the Game Director of League of Legends. As the Gameplay Design Lead, Mark manages design for new champions, champion updates, game balance, items, runes, Summoner's Rift, preseason, matchmaking, ranked and player behavior. In April 2021, Mark announced that he would transition to the role of Game Director of the MMO set in the League universe.
