Mana icon Mana, or MP, is a stat that corresponds to the exact amount of ability casting resource of many champions. Mana is expended on an ability's mana cost. Mana as a resource is designed to limit and inhibit ability casting: a champion's mana pool is typically a relatively large amount which refills at a relatively slow rate via mana regeneration — once a champion's mana pool has been depleted, they cannot afford to pay the mana cost of their abilities anymore until they have sufficient mana. Mana can also be restored actively through certain effects.

  • Mana Additive stacking icon stacks additively, and each point acquired directly adds to the statistic (1:1). This is true for both flat values and percentage values.

On the game HUD, mana is represented by the blue bar under the health indicator; on champion markers it is represented as the smaller, non-descriptive blue bar under the larger health bar, indicating the champion's current and maximum mana.

Champions that are mana users have a certain amount of base mana that increases through growth per level. Maximum mana refers to base plus bonus mana. Bonus mana can be gained from any source other than levels, for example from buffs, items, runes, and others.

  • Mana has a gold value of 1 1.4 per point.
