Lunar Beasts is 2021's event for Lunar New Year, spanning League of Legends, Wild Rift and Teamfight Tactics. The event took us to the Lunar Beasts setting for the first time, exploring a futuristic world with far-eastern mythology and influences.

The following Champion skins were made available in the store:

The following limited edition Bundles were made available in the store for 2220 RP 2220:

Border Set Bundles contain 1x Lunar Beast skin w/ Loading Screen Border, 1x 2021 Lunar Beast Ward and 1x Lunar Beast Champion summoner icon plus the champion if unowned (50% discount RP 50% discount).

  • Note that Viego and his Lunar Beast skin were released separately, but his Border Set was only released during this event.


The Lunar Beasts 2021 Mega Bundle, which includes all 7 bundles, is available for 13620 RP 13620 plus the cost of any unowned champions (16336 RP 16336 total cost).

  • 7x Champions (50% discount RP 50% discount): Alistar Alistar, Annie Annie, Aphelios Aphelios, Darius Darius, Fiora Fiora, Jarvan IV Jarvan IV and Viego Viego
  • 7x Skins: Each champion's corresponding Lunar Beast Skin w/ Loading Screen Border.
  • 1x Lunar Beast Ward
  • 7x Summoner Icons: Each champion's corresponding Lunar Beast icon.

All Border Sets are limited edition and will not be available again in the future. The cost of owned content will be deducted from the price, but only the champion's RP cost is discounted as part of the bundle.

The following Chroma sets were made available in the store (290 RP 290 per chroma):

Ruby Chromas are exclusive to Chroma Bundles. Each Lunar Beast Chroma Bundle contains 1x Lunar Beast skin, 5x common Chromas and 1x Ruby Chroma (2565 RP 2565) plus the champion if unowned (50% discount RP 50% discount). Chroma Bundles are only available to purchase when the corresponding skin is available in the store.

Battle Pass

Token Missions

Purchasing the Battle Pass unlocks the ability to passively earn tokens by playing matchmade PVP games. These are described as 'Token Missions' within Riot's promotional terms and conditions, but are not shown within the missions pane.

You will accrue rewards from this repeatable mission even before purchasing the Pass, and the Missions panel will continually advertise how many tokens you will be back-paid if you purchase the Battle Pass. Note that this only applies to these tokens earned - you will not make progress toward other pass-exclusive missions in advance of purchasing the Battle Pass.

You need to complete each Milestone before moving onto the next.

The 2020 Prestige Point Bundle can be purchased for 2200 tokens:

The Loading Screen Border and summoner icon are exclusive to this bundle. This Prestige Edition skin will also be available from the Prestige Point Shop during the next Prestige Point Sale, and is also loot-eligible.

The following Icon + Border Bundles were available for 250 tokens:

Icon + Border bundles contain 1x Loading Screen Border and 1x Lunar Beast Champion summoner icon. The corresponding skin must be purchased separately in order to see the loading screen border. The Icon + Border are also available from RP RP bundles.

The following Chroma + Icon Bundles were available for 300 tokens:

Chroma + Icon bundles contain 1x Vitality chroma and 1x Lunar Beast Champion Chroma summoner icon. The corresponding skin must be purchased separately in order to use the chroma. The chroma and icon are both exclusively available through Hextech crafting and cannot be otherwise obtained.
