Brackern[]

Surrounded around the Shuriman Continent are several clans of Brackern, including clans in the Shuriman desert.

Dormun[]

The Dormun are gigantic, slow-moving creatures protected with large chitinous plates covering their body. In the harsh conditions of Shurima they have evolved to survive the perpetual drought by utilizing an unknown sense to locate hidden reservoirs of water. Incidentally, certain nomadic tribes have built themselves a permanent home upon the backs of these beasts where they clean the creature and hunt any airborne pests who venture near.

Eka'Sul[]

Desert goats that travel in herds.

Mwatis[]

Mwatis are goatlike creatures with large plated casques on their heads. Mwati wool and plate are prised for felting and insulation.

Kmiros[]

Gigantic scarabs that roam in swarms, looking for unfortunate travelers to feed on. They seem to be common prey for Rammus Rammus.

Outerbeasts[]

Beside the Xer'Sai, other creatures from the Void, referred to as 'outerbeasts', can be found in the desert.

  • Xer'Sai: Creatures from the Void that plague the southern deserts. They are the size of big dogs on average, but can be smaller or much bigger. Rek'Sai Rek'Sai, as the queen, is by far the largest and most dangerous of her species. Xer'sai burst from their small burrows and ravage anything nearby, to the detriment of desert caravans. Once dead, the Xer'sai decompose at an abnormally rapid rate and become inedible.

Ralsiji[]

Large and aggressive minotaur-like creatures. They are humpbacked quadrupeds with long limbs and thick horns.

Shuriman Camel[]

A breed of camels native to the deserts of Shurima and are used by caravans as well as common folk as primary mode of transportation. Despite being well-suited for lengthy travels in the desert landscape, they are still prey to a many predator such as the Xer'Sai.

Sandswimmers

Sandswimmers are massive quadrupedal creatures that traverse the Shuriman desert in cyclical patterns. They got their name due to their preferred method of travel. Their narrow bodies and webbed feet are perfectly design for swimming under the sand. They feed on bugs and other small creatures most desert beasts ignore. Scavengers will often memorize the predictable paths these creatures take, and jump onto their backs to ride as far as they wish.


Skallashi[]

The Skallashi are large quadrupedal herbivores. These hardy beasts of burden are common across Shurima, ideally suited to the harsh desert environment. Their key body feature is their long legs. Notoriously bad-tempered, they are nevertheless treated with great reverence. Their brown hides are often painted with sacred symbols of protection, and their horns hung with totems and charms. While these creatures are mostly used for travel and carrying heavy loads, on some larger skallashi people are able to built miniature rooms for more comfortable travel. To own one is often considered a sign of considerable prosperity.

Innate: Whenever a nearby enemy champion dies, Lissandra spawns a Frozen Thrall from their corpse.

Frozen Thralls are ice spirits that have Champions killed 5s before or after using Chronobreak (R)33.48 − 325 (based on seconds) movement speed and Slow icon slow nearby enemies by 25%. They will chase nearby Sight icon visible enemies for 4 seconds, prioritizing Champion icon champions, after which they shatter to deal Damage mitigated by Master-At-Arms (R)120 − 520 (based on level) Multiple champions hit with Between Worlds (R)(+ 50% AP) Damage mitigated with Shifting Sands (E)magic damage to nearby enemies.

  • Thralls are units that are considered champions (they are Shaco Command- Hallucinate clones) and they take the form of the champion they arise from.
    • Additionally, near the end of their life span, they will cue that champion's basic attack animation.
    • They cannot be teleported by an allied Realm Warp Realm Warp.
  • Thralls are Untargetable icon untargetable and Taric Cosmic Radiance invulnerable.
  • Thralls are revealed to enemies through the fog of war.
  • Thralls will continue to chase their target even if they enter a Ivern Brushmaker brush.
  • Iceborn Subjugation will not summon a Thrall against enemy champions that enter a Zombie icon zombie state, and will instead summon one after they've left the state.

Active: Lissandra launches a shard of ice in the target direction that deals Damage mitigated with Shifting Sands (E)magic damage and Slow icon slows enemies hit for 1.5 seconds.

If Ice Shard hits an enemy, it will shatter, increasing its width and maximum range.

  • This ability will cast from wherever the caster is at the end of the cast time.
  • Ice Shard picks a location 950 units away in the direction of the cast for the shattered missile to end up at.
  • The initial Ice Shard missile has a range of 700 units which it arrives at after 0.33 seconds. If it hasn't collided with an enemy in this path when it does, it checks for enemies in a Range center 100 radius around the point 25 units in front of it.
    • Colliding or hitting an enemy in either fashion creates a new "shattered" missile with the same speed but greater width that continues to travel along the same line to the designated point 950 units from the cast's original position, originating at the location at which the initial missile collided at.
  • Sivir Spell Shield Spell shield will block the damage and the slow but will not stop the projectile from shattering.

Recast: Lissandra consumes the claw and Flash blinks to its current location.

  • Both casts count as ability activations for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Sheen item Spellblade and triggering Force Pulse's Force Pulse's passive.
  • Lissandra can reactivate Glacial Path for the duration (plus another 0.2-0.3 seconds after the claw 'sinks' into the ground).
    • The Claw can also hit enemies near the end point at this time, shortly after the missile has reached its maximum range.
  • Glacial Path allows Lissandra to surpass through every single wall in all maps, so long as the claw is at least halfway through them.
  • Glacial Path cannot be recast while Grounded icon grounded or Root icon rooted.

Active: Lissandra can cast Frozen Tomb on herself or an enemy champion.

Enemy Cast: Lissandra freezes the target enemy champion, Knockdown icon knocking them down and Stun icon stunning them for 1.5 seconds.

Self Cast: Lissandra instantly entombs herself in ice, entering Stasis icon stasis for 2.5 seconds and Heal power icon healing herself every 0.25 seconds over the duration. The healing is increased by Champions killed with Comeuppance (R)0% − 100% (based on missing health at the time of cast).

Minimum Heal per Tick:

    • On enemy cast: Lissandra freezes an enemy champion, damaging and stunning them briefly. Dark Ice emanates from the target, dealing damage and slowing nearby enemies.
    • On self-cast: Lissandra encases herself in ice, rooting herself in place briefly and becoming untargetable and invulnerable. Dark Ice emanates from Lissandra, dealing damage and slowing nearby enemies.

Trivia[]

  • Lissandra first appeared in the Journal of Justice, Issue 2, several years before her announcement as a champion. Like now, she was portrayed as the leader of one of the three tribes of the Freljord, but her portrayal was originally vastly different, as a mortal princess allied with Ashe Ashe's tribe.
    • This was later revealed to be her alter ego, and most people are not aware of her being the Ice Witch herself.
  • If Ashe, Lissandra, and/or Sejuani Sejuani are played on opposing teams, Battle for Freljord will trigger. This in-game quest consists in one killing the other to earn the title of 'Queen of Freljord' (complete with a floating ice crown floating above their heads) referencing the civil war taking place there, between the three tribes each lead.
  • Lissandra is the only champion to possess a single-targeted ability (Frozen Tomb Frozen Tomb) that can be used on herself but not on allies.
  • Lissandra, Elise Elise, and Lucian Lucian are the only champions to feature a monologue on their login screens.
  • Lissandra may be the feminine form of Greek name Λύσανδρος (Lysander or "liberator").
  • Her champion theme is the same as the pick music of ARAM and is titled "Freljord".
