The League of Legends Wiki is an English-language Wiki that strives to provide content that is appropriate for a North American audience. The information we provide is a mixture of editor-written content, in-game screenshots/footage, transcripts and text/media provided verbatim from the source material.
We provide coverage for multiple game titles that have distinct content ratings; and multiple narrative mediums that have distinct content rating systems. Whenever possible, editor-written content is suitable for readers of all ages. However, per the ESRB content rating for League of Legends, references to the following should be expected:
- Blood
- Fantasy Violence
- Sexually Suggestive Themes
- Use of Alcohol
- Use of Tobacco
Depictions of Blood, Sexually Suggestive Themes and Use of Alcohol & Tobacco within the game are censored in some regions. When available, censored content is provided as additional viewing material.
Based on the guidelines provided by various North American and European Content Rating Providers, the League of Legends Wiki will provide alert notices if an article references any of the following:
- Gambling
- Gore
- Sexually Explicit Content
- Sexual Violence
- Strong Language
- Substance Abuse
- Suicide and Self-harm
A list of flagged articles can be found here. The majority of flagged articles are categorized under the Universe Wiki, which documents narrative and world-building (aka "lore") that is provided by developers as supplementary material outside of their main games.
