- Other viable keystones for Kha'Zix are
- The former allows Kha'Zix to better stick to an enemy and is helpful if the enemy rely on slows to kite Kha'Zix, but generally speaking, Kha'Zix has enough mobility to make Stormraider's Surge unneded most of time, and the most dangerous CCs for him are hard CCs that are unnafected by Stormraider's Surge reduction. Thunderlord's Decre is generally better as Kha'Zix really needs the extra damage to kill targets, especially if the enemy is NOT isolated.
- The latter has no cooldown. However, Kha'Zix generally wants to burst the target as fast as possible, making Thunderlord's Decree superior as it outdamages Deathfire Touch in short trades. The cooldown is also not an issue as many times, Kha'Zix will try to not engage in direct fights after he killed a key target. That said, Kha'Zix's is a single-target, non-DoT ability, meaning that it procs the most powerful version of Deathfire Touch. It can be viable in more bruiser-ish builds that focus less on bursting down targets and more on Kha'Zix's dueling potential.
and , but they are far more situtional.
is by far the best keystone for Kha'Zix. He can activate it by using and auto-attacking if the attack is empowered by since both the auto-attack itself and count as stacks for activating Thunderlord's Decree. This allows him to do insane burst damage to a target in a short amount of time. It helps that both Unseen Threat and Thunderlord's Decree do magic damage, allowing Kha'Zix to better deal with enemies that purchase armor early (but falls off later once they purchase magic resistance, since Kha'Zix can't build magic penetration).

- Countering
- Since Kha'Zix deals bonus damage (and its evolved Spikes slow more) against isolated targets, the most obvious solution is to avoid being isolated. Being near a minion or turret can be enough, since they deny Kha'Zix's isolation.
- It also means that avoiding being spread later in the game is an effective strategy. Assassins are generally countered by this since being near an allied tank can protect you from being bursted down by an assassin since they are at the risk of taking CC and dying. Against Kha'Zix in particular, this strategy is even more effective since he is even more reliant on fighting isolated enemies, compared to other assassins.
- Just be careful if Kha'Zix's team has champions like or , which can take advantage of teams that are clumped.
