Missive to the Grand General Part I[]
Grand General,
We’ve arrived in Bilgewater, and it was as I was warned. It reeks of gore and unwashed bodies, the stench alone would overwhelm lesser folk. Loris and I observed Lady Elise and her followers' movements, but they have yet to depart for the Shadow Isles.
Loris noted some of Elise’s followers seem on edge, so I took the opportunity to interview one. He seemed apprehensive, shaken by their journey ahead. Yet as soon as the Lady returned he was swept into a reverie, like a calf before the slaughter. Their vessel departs in the morning and I have hired a captain to trail them to port.
I hope this letter makes it safely into your hands, Grand General. The courier I hired seemed excited at the prospect of working for Noxian coin.

Missive to the Grand General Part II[]
Grand General,
We landed on these cursed isles, and already the chill bites at me. I can feel the spirits pulling at my very soul!
Lady Elise landed her vessel in a cove used by glory seekers and treasure hunters. I’ve mapped the location and will hold it until I can parley with our more trusted agents in Bilgewater. Loris scouted a path further into the interior, behind Lady Elise’s group.
I will follow the marked path to their destination. I hope this letter arrives punctually.

Missive to the Grand General*[]
I only barely escaped with my life.
I couldn’t save Loris--when it all went to madness, he fell and tangled himself in a mass of web. I grabbed his notebook and ran, tripping on web and bone. Screams echoed behind me… there was a sound of scuttling legs…
I felt a sharp pain in my heel--some horrible mouth clipping and slicing at me as I tumbled. I’ve applied dressing but it still aches like a burn.
I must get this map and notebook back. I must find a way out of this wretched place. The path we marked is blocked at every turn by mistwraiths. I’ve found temporary reprieve in the Vaults.
The sound of chittering grows louder. I can still hear it. Almost feel them crawling over my skin...
I’ll find a way out… after I close my eyes. Just a moment. I must preserve energy and rest this leg. Have to return these documents to the Grand General. It’s my duty. I still have my duty…
