- Society has become increasingly individualistic and closed off under the Essent's rule. People are encouraged to care only about themselves, so nobody trusts each other. As leader of the long-dead Order of Solace, Malzahar seeks to bring harmony to this dissonant world through the uplifting aura of Solace. He knows that only by coming together can they inspire a better world.

Three Honors Akshan
When the Order of Solace found Akshan, he was a soulless weapon of death caught in a cycle of revenge following his mentor's murder. Even with his despair, the Order's teachings were able to fill the endless hole within Akshan and rejuvenate him. Now he stands with Malzahar as a Three Honors stalwart, ready to fight the Essents with harmony and quips.- Three Honors Malzahar
As the Order of Solace's leader, Malzahar wants to extend a gentle, guiding hand to all. It was only by following the tenets of the Three Honors that he was able to escape from a pit of cynicism, and while apathy may reign supreme, Malzahar will do whatever it takes to build a better world.
