Many champion abilities, items and runes scale with health. This page lists all the game elements that scale with ally, self, or enemy health.

These use the champion's personal health pool, either total or bonus health, to increase the ability's strength.

Maximum health[]

These deal bonus damage based on the target's maximum health, being more effective the higher health the target has in total. This damage based on the target's health ratio is usually capped against minions and monsters.

Current health[]

These deal bonus damage based on the target's current health, being more effective the higher health the target currently has. This damage based on the target's health ratio is usually capped against minions and monsters.

Missing health (Percent of missing)[]

These deal bonus damage based on the target's missing health, being more effective the less health the target currently has. This damage based on the target's health ratio is usually capped against minions and monsters.

Missing health (Percent health missing)[]

These deal bonus damage based on the target's current health, being more effective the less health the target currently has. Their damage increases linearly for every 1% health the target is missing. The maximum damage scaling usually increases to up to 100% missing health, but can be set to other values.

Bonus health[]

These deal bonus damage based on the target's bonus health, being more effective the higher health the target has gained in total (not including from growth).

Health threshold[]

These trigger or become more effective if the target is below a certain health threshold.
