Gold is the main currency in the Adventures of The Path of Champions. It can be used to purchase cards, Items, and Powers in Shops or other ressources.

Acquiring Gold

Combat Encounters

The main way of earning gold in an adventure is to defeat Foes. Whenever the player beats an opponent, they are rewarded with some gold.

Encounter	Base Gold Earning
Foes	+100 Gold
Bosses	+200 Gold

Legend Level

Depending on your Legend Level, you will start adventures with bonus gold and gain gold more rapidly.

Level 9	+10% Gold Earned	-
Level 11		100 Starting Gold
Level 16	+20% Gold Earned
Level 24	+30% Gold Earned
Level 28		200 Starting Gold

Relics

Some Relics can also increase your starting gold or your gold gain during adventures.

Relic	Description
Heart of Gold	You earn 50% additional gold during adventures.
The Collector	+1|+1 When I kill an enemy, you earn 50 gold. (Max 2 kills per encounter)
Stacked Deck	+200 Starting Gold. Power: Allies have +1|+1 for every 12 cards in your deck past 18 at game start.

Powers

Certain Powers can also help you earn more gold in adventures.

Power	Description
Endless Wealth	Get 200 additional gold after each combat encounter.

Constellations

Similarly, some Bonus Stars in a Champion's Constellation can grant additional gold either to themselves or to all champions of their region.

Using Gold

Shops

The main way players can spend gold is through Shops. Shops are encounters placed throughout adventures, typically before boss nodes. They allow the player to buy cards (with items) and Powers.
