Gold in Teamfight Tactics is the accrue income over the game that a player can spend on experience, champions and re-rolling a players champion pool. Choosing when to spend gold is one of the pillars of mastery for Teamfight Tactics.
Gold can also drop like items, requiring the Little Legend to retrieve them.

- 1-Star and 1-cost champions sell back for their full gold value.
- Champions that aren't 1-Star or 1-cost now have a 1 gold sell back penalty (e.g. 2-star copies of 3-cost champs will sell for 8 gold instead of 5, 3-star copies of 1-cost champs will sell for 9 gold instead of 5).
- Streak gold changed to 2-3(1g), 4(2g), 5+(3g) from 2(1g), 3(2g), 4+(3g).
