Active: Fizz becomes Playful.png untargetable and Dash.png vaults toward the target location over 0.25 seconds while balancing on his trident. Fizz gains the ability to cast Trickster Trickster after a 0.15-second delay until he begins to jump off the trident.

Fizz then hops off his trident and splashes onto the ground below him over 0.75 seconds, becoming targetable again and dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and Slow icon.png slowing them for 2 seconds.

Active: Fizz dismounts from his trident and Dash.png dashes toward the target location in quick succession. Upon landing, he deals magic damage to nearby enemies. The damage dealt is the same as Playful's Playful's, but in a smaller radius, and without applying the Slow icon.png slow.

Both Playful's Playful's and Trickster's Dash.png dashes may be directed separately.

Notes
  • Playful counts as an ability activation for the purposes of on-cast effects such as Spellblade, charging Spellbinder Spellbinder, and stacking Force Pulse Force Pulse.
    • Detonating the ability early for Trickster Trickster does not.
  • After Playful is used (without activating Trickster) Fizz can orientate his landing by inputting movement commands before/as he drops for a longer reach (but same radius) on the slow/damage.
  • Playful cannot be used for approximately 0.5 seconds after using Urchin Strike Urchin Strike.
  • Flash Flash cannot be used during either dashes. It may be cast after 0.5 seconds of completing Playful's dash.
  • The Playful.png untargetability partially cancels if Fizz is knocked Airborne icon.png airborne during it, allowing non-unit-targeted effects to hit him. Fizz will immediately hop off his trident and splash if this occurs.
  • If Fizz goes into Stasis icon.png stasis (by Zhonya's Hourglass Zhonya's Hourglass / Stopwatch Stopwatch) during either Playful or Trickster Trickster, the splash occurs after the stasis ends.
  • Fizz will not become Playful.png untargetable if Playful is used to override a displacement, and he will begin the splash prematurely. If the ability was recast, the splash will not occur at all.*

Notes
  • Trickster does not count as an ability activation.
  • Fizz is Playful.png untargetable during Trickster's dash as well.
  • The splash occurs immediately if Fizz encounters terrain that cannot be dashed through (he has to be particularly close to the wall).

Active: Fizz throws down a lure at the target location that attracts a shark, Sight icon.png revealing the affected area before emerging and letting out a crushing bite at the lure after 2 seconds, dealing magic damage to surrounding enemies, Airborne icon.png knocking them back and Slow icon.png slowing them for 2 seconds. The further the lure travels in its initial flight, the larger the shark that is attracted, increasing its damage, slow, eruption radius and knock back distance.

Guppy (<455): 40% slow, 200 eruption radius and 150 unit knock back distance.

Guppy Damage:
150 / 250 / 350 (+ 80% AP)

Chomper (455-910): 60% slow, 325 eruption radius and 250 unit knock back distance.

Chomper Damage:
225 / 325 / 425 (+ 100% AP)

Gigalodon (>910): 80% slow, 450 eruption radius and 350 unit knock back distance.

Gigalodon Damage:
300 / 400 / 500 (+ 120% AP)

Enemy Champion icon.png champions can intercept the lure while it is in flight, which attaches to them and causes the shark to emerge at their position. The lure's holder is Slow icon.png slowed and True Sight icon.png revealed for the duration and Airborne icon.png knocked up for 1 second instead of knocked back.

Chum the Waters will cast at max range if cast beyond that.

Notes
  • Chum the Waters will stop its movement if the lure collides with an enemy champion with a Spell Shield.png spell shield (does not attach) or upon colliding with Wind Wall Wind Wall (does not get destroyed).
  • Chum the Waters is cast from wherever Fizz is at the end of the cast time. Although the targeted area is not changed, unless the ability was cast beyond maximum range.
  • If the lure attaches to an enemy champion, a countdown will appear at their position to signify when the shark is going to emerge. The countdown starts from 4 seconds and ends at the last second, though the numbers decrease twice as fast.
