A Harmless Scarecrow

Innate - Scarecrow Effigy: Fiddlesticks begins the game with an exclusive Scarecrow Effigy item Scarecrow Effigy, which permanently occupies the trinket slot. Fiddlesticks can pretend to be an Effigy, after standing still for 2 seconds, adjusting its body into a scarecrow and extending its arm out to expose its lantern. Its health bar is also hidden to enemies while idle, similarly to an Effigy.

Innate - A Harmless Scarecrow: From level 6 onward, placing an Totem Ward icon Effigy also summons a demonic eyeball at the location that grants Sweeper Drone icon obscured vision of enemy units in the area for 6 seconds, which also True Sight icon reveals and Disabled Ward icon disables enemy Ward icon wards and Noxious Trap stealthed traps.

Notes
  • Effigies will mimic Fiddlesticks' idle animations and have their health bar hidden until they fake an action.
    • If Fiddlesticks pretends to be an effigy, the health bar stays hidden until the animation is interrupted or it takes damage. The health bar will come back into view immediately but will instantly vanish if Fiddlesticks remains idle the moment it stops taking damage.
      • Channeling icon Channeling a spell interrupts the pose and does not activate it either.
        • The pose is special cased to only be interrupted by Bountiful Harvest Bountiful Harvest's cast once the tethers are applied.
  • Effigies are considered Command Hallucinate clones, but they are not valid targets to direction, ground, and auto-targeted abilities the moment they are placed, a short amount of time must elapse before they are targetable to them.
    • In mirror matches, placing an effigy next to an enemy effigy will cause your effigy to immediately crumble without triggering the enemy's effigy to do the same. PENDING FOR TEST Do other "unseen effects" similarly treat a failed effigy as never actually being there?
  • The trinket slot can still be temporarily replaced by Eye of the Herald item Eye of the Herald.
  • A Harmless Scarecrow Surprise Party - Fiddlesticks SurprisePartyCircle Surprise Party Fiddlesticks has a special icon for this ability.

Passive: While Fiddlesticks is out of combat for at least 2.5 seconds and is unseen by any enemy champion, all enemy units are affected by Dread. Fiddlesticks' next damaging ability against an enemy affected by Dread will Flee icon fear them. If Fiddlesticks casts Bountiful Harvest Bountiful Harvest or Reap Reap while pretending to be an A Harmless Scarecrow Effigy, enemies hit will be Flee icon feared as if it were unseen.

Fear Duration:

Active: Fiddlesticks hurls a crow at the target enemy. After a 0.4 second travel time, the target takes Magic damage magic damage and is Flee icon feared for a short duration. Terrify has a minimum damage threshold and is capped at 400 against Monster icon monsters.

6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target's current health
Minimum Damage:
40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120

Enemies can only be Flee icon feared by Terrify's passive once every few seconds. Terrify's active damage and minimum damage threshold are Critical magic strike icon doubled if the target has recently been feared.

Increased Magic Damage:
12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20% (+ 4% per 100 AP) of target's current health
Increased Minimum Damage:
80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240

Flee icon Feared enemies are Slow icon slowed by 90%.

Notes
  • The fear-immunity timer is not refreshed by subsequent attempts to fear the target.
  • Fiddlesticks is considered "seen" if he is visible and is inside an enemy champion's sight radius. Vision from Minion icon minions, Ward icon wards, and Turret icon turrets will not prevent Fiddlesticks from Flee icon fearing if there are no nearby enemy champions.
    • There is no grace period after being seen or entering combat.
    • Vision from the enemy team will not prevent the fear from triggering versus neutral monsters, and vice versa.
  • The Dread aura does not currently communicate any information to Fiddlesticks, its allies or its enemies. There is no indicator to say that Fiddlesticks is out of combat; and no indicator or debuff icon on affected enemies.
    • If the Dread aura is active, a visual indicator will circle around all enemy champions while Fiddlesticks is channeling Crowstorm Crowstorm. This is only visible to Fiddlesticks.
  • The fear immunity applies even if the target is Cc-immune icon crowd control immune. It is not applied if it is blocked by Spell Shield spell shield, the visual indicator is however.
  • Terrify Surprise Party - Fiddlesticks SurprisePartyCircle Surprise Party Fiddlesticks has a special icon for this ability.

Tips & Tricks
  • Nearsight icon Nearsight reduces an enemy Champion icon champion's Sight icon sight radius, thus allowing Fiddlesticks to utilize the Dread aura more effectively.

Active: Fiddlesticks harvests the souls of all nearby enemies, Channeling icon channeling and Sight icon revealing itself for up to 2 seconds and Focused Resolve tethering itself to them. Tethered enemies are True Sight icon revealed and dealt magic damage every 0.25 seconds, with the last tick dealing additional magic damage. Total damage is reduced to 60% against Minion icon minions.
