The Path of Champions Wiki • Legends of Runeterra
Description[]
Shop is a node that appears in The Path of Champions. Shops offer the following options:
- Buy Cards
- Buy a Power (only in Type A shops at Legend Level 13+)
- Buy Items (only in Type B shops)
- Leave
There are two types of Shop nodes, unofficially named Type A and Type B. They differ in node options and card prices, but their appearance is exactly the same. The shop node's rarity is either Common, Rare or Epic, and it affects the rarities of rewards (items, Powers) found inside. Card rarities are not affected.
Buy Cards[]
The Buy Cards option allows the player to buy up to 3 copies of up to 6 different cards by spending their Gold. The number of available cards is initially 3, but can be increased to 6 with Legend Levels. All cards are offered with an equipped item. The first purchase of a copy attaches that item to copies of that card everywhere. Subsequent purchases of copies are cheaper as they don't provide additional items.
Like other random choices, players can reroll to get new options. Rerolling changes all offered cards and their items, as well as replenishing the number of copies available for purchase.
Shop upgrades[]
Shops get several upgrades as the player improves their Legend Level.
- At Legend Level 6, the Buy Cards option offers 6 cards for sale instead of 3.
- At Legend Level 13, players can purchase Powers in Type A shops (undocumented for Type B). This also unlocks a "discount slot" for the first card in the Buy Cards option, marked with a golden "Featured" label. Prices in the slot are twice as cheap as regular ones, rounded down for odd numbers.
- At Legend Level 22, Champion cards can appear in the card pool of the shop.
Type A shops[]
Type A shops can be found in all World Adventures except The Frost Witch, all Champion Campaigns, and all Weekly Adventures. They offer Powers and the card prices are higher than Type B shops.
Buy a Power[]
The player can buy a Power from this node option in exchange for Gold. There's always only one Power for sale and it can be rerolled, but that doesn't replenish the stock (unlike rerolling cards). The player can buy both cards and a Power from the same shop.
Card prices[]
The first copy of a card slot also comes with an item. The price depends both on the item's rarity and the card's rarity:
Rarity | Common | Rare | Epic | Champion | Token? | Exclusive |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
No item | 30 | 35 | 40 | 100 | 50 | Varies? |
Common | 60 | 70 | 80 | 200 | 100 | |
Rare | 120 | 140 | 160 | 400 | 200 | |
Epic | 180 | 210 | 240 | 600 | 300 |
Power prices[]
Power rarity | Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary |
---|---|---|---|---|
Price | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 |
Type B shops[]
Type B shops can be found in all Monthly Challenges and in The Frost Witch World Adventure. They offer items instead of a Power but their cards are cheaper.
Buy Items[]
The player is provided with 3 choices for cards from their deck and new items attached to each of them. The player may spend gold, 225 for a regular card or 300 for a Champion, to attach that item to all copies of that card. Rerolling replenishes the stock. More than one item may be bought and both items and cards may be bought from the same shop node.
Card prices[]
Prices for cards here depend only on the item's rarity:
Item rarity | No item | Common | Rare | Epic |
---|---|---|---|---|
Price | 15 | 30 | 60 | 90 |
