Eldred was the uncle of 
Garen and 
Lux, a member of the 
Crownguard House, and the leader of the 
Mageseekers.
His wife is High Marshal Tianna Crownguard, former captain of the 
Dauntless Vanguard.
Background[]
Eldred married into the Crownguard family through his wife, Tianna Crownguard, the High Marshal of Demacia. During his tenure as leader of the mageseekers, he was responsible for imprisoning Sylas and indoctrinating Wisteria into their ranks. After Sylas escaped from his prison and began his revolution, Eldred ordered Wisteria to apprehend him. Eventually Sylas killed Eldred when his forces assaulted the Great City of Demacia.

Personality[]
As the leader of the mageseekers, Eldred is exceptionally cruel and has a great disdain for mages, even willing to imprison his own niece. He has shown himself to desire power above all else, willing to lie to the people of Demacia in order to secure more power for the mageseekers. He feigned deep admiration for Barrett Buvelle and twisted his image to his favor during Barret's funeral in order to curry more favor with the noble houses.
