1 Darkin: Darkin are possessed by a weapon. When they die, the weapon possesses the nearest ally champion, granting them the weapon's power. 2 Darkins: Weapon powers become 50% stronger.

Notes

• The effect of Naafiri's Dagger of Darklings is triggered when the bearer uses the Ability.
• When the champion receives the Aatrox's Darkin Blade, a waning red circle appears around him. Once it disappears, the champion can be reborn as Aatrox.

• Darkin and Void are the only origins of the set that are like races and not like regions.

When Aatrox or the holder of The Darkin Blade dies, the Darkin Blade is equipped to the nearest ally champion, granting them 400 Health and 15% Omnivamp. After being equipped to a champion for 5 seconds, Aatrox will revive upon their death instead.

Notes

• The Darkin Blade is an item in terms of game mechanics, occupies a special slot, allowing the bearer to keep his equipped items without interference, as it was not in set 2. This is similar to the Zaun trait.
• When the champion receives a Darkin Blade, a waning red circle appears around him. As soon as it disappears, the champion can be reborn as Aatrox.

Trivia

• The item's icon is reused from the League of Legends champion Aatrox's World Ender ability.
• Before patch V9.15 it was possible to try to attach this to a Demon during combat, the item would bounce off the champion as it should, and give that champion 40 mana. This led to situations like having 15+ Spiderlings on the allied field at once.

• It is the first case that Darkin is a trait and an item in different sets.

• Bug Fix: Tooltip now properly reflects the extra mana it grants.
