- Darius is voiced by Chuck Kourouklis, who also voices Dunkmaster Darius, God-King Darius, and 6Darius in Legends of Runeterra.
- In the After Victory cinematic, Darius is instead voiced by Daniel Riordan, whom also voiced Yorick.
- His Decimate and Noxian Guillotine were inspired by Garen's Judgment and Demacian Justice respectively.[1]

- Darius, Draven, Invetia, and Quilletta Varn were all born in Basilich.

- Darius's Trifarian Legion is probably based on the Triarii, the elite unit in the Roman Republic's early period legionss;
- Having been raised as an orphan, Darius doesn't care for titles or privileges—only to serve his empire through Noxian Might.[4]
- His armor and axe were likely made with ore from the Delverhold of the Ironspike Mountains.[5]

- Darius is one of 21 champions without a single ability power ratio on any ability: Aatrox, Camille, Darius, Dr. Mundo, Draven, Garen, K'Sante, Kayn, Kled, Naafiri, Nilah, Olaf, Pyke, Riven, Samira, Sett, Talon, Urgot, Xayah, Yone, and Zed.
- Darius - Draven is one of seven pairs of sibling champions (the others being Cassiopeia - Katarina, Kayle - Morgana, Garen - Lux, Nasus - Renekton, Yasuo - Yone, and Vi - Jinx).
- Darius is 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 meters) tall and weighs 266 lbs (121 kilograms).[6]
