The Creation of the Universe is the first and most extensive event in the timeline, encompassing everything from the very beginning of time itself to the formation of 
Runeterra.
History[]
In the very beginning, before the existence of time, space or reality there was only the nothingness of the 
Void, a vast emptiness that acted as the home to entities without form or sentience known as the Watchers. However, this silent nothingness was consumed by the sudden appearance of reality and with it the Multiverse, including 
Runeterra Prime.
With this "breath of creation" came the very first Celestials; powerful and enigmatic beings hailing from the newly formed Celestial Realm. These Celestials came in many forms and some were formless, requiring a vessel to contain them. An example of this is the mysterious 
Bard who possesses a collection of trinkets.
Other Celestials took the form of Celestial Dragons such as 
Aurelion Sol and 
6 Inviolus Vox. Aurelion Sol began populating the empty space around him by forging stars. From first these stars, small beings called Meeps were formed from the "residual inspiration and thought" that went into forming them. The exact mechanism that grants these Meeps life is known exclusively by Bard, whom they naturally follow on his travels. While forging the stars, Aurelion Sol would also connect some of his creations to form constellations, being capable of granting some of them life and essentially making Celestials in the form of living constellations.
Because of reality’s constant expansion into the Void, the Watchers, who had been slumbering in the silence of nothingness, awakened and gained sentience, growing annoyed with the newly formed Multiverse that interrupted their non-existence.
At some unknown point in time, the planet Runeterra was formed by an unknown group of beings using World Runes, orbiting one of Aurelion Sol's stars to serve as its sun as well as being accompanied by both a physical and spiritual moon.
