Chross is a chem-baron and the boss of the Hush Company.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Although he was born and raised in Piltover, Chross decided to move to Zaun after he realized that his skillset and personality worked better in the undercity. At some point after took over the undercity, Chross made a name for himself as the boss of the Hush Company, an illicit enterprise that specialized in surveillance, and became affiliated with several other crime lords who were also loyal to Silco,[1] creating the first generation of Chem-Barons.[2]

At one point, one of his most infamous hitmen, Nero Eso, was apprehended by enforcers. Because he was captured by someone other than Silco's upper city asset, [1]
, the hitman was interrogated, though he refused to give any substantial information on him and Silco. Nero was apparently ordered by Silco to leave Progress Day pins at the sites of his hits as a reminder to Chross of his origins. Another enforcer, , found the records of this and kept it as part of an ongoing investigation on and his in Piltover.Border Crisis[]
After the actions of Piltover, trade between the two cities came to a sudden halt, causing Chross' criminal ventures to lose massive profits. Frustrated by the fact that Silco was doing nothing to keep Jinx under control, Chross and the other chem-barons scheduled an assembly to discuss their next move, in which attempted to convince him to join him in a coup against Silco. However, before he could give Finn an answer, Silco arrived on the scene and unleashed a toxic gas in the air to remind the barons of the oppressive life that he had saved them from, which was enough to convince Chross to fall back in line.[2]
