A champion skin refers to an alternate appearance (skin) and/or color scheme (chroma) for any given League of Legends: Wild Rift champion.

Most skins can be purchased from the games store using WC Wild Cores WC while some are only available for a limited time, with a very select few being unobtainable aside from the time they were first released.

Every skin comes with its own unique model and splash art, while some skins also give champions different particle effects, voice-overs, and sound effects (their price varies accordingly). Chroma only give a separate color palette to an existing skin or model.

Sometimes includes: new animations, visual effects, and sounds where appropriate for the skin's theme, or where the lack of would be detrimental. Only a small number of these skins may be released in the future.
Normal 525 Wild Cores 525 A simple "costume change" for the champion. Includes a model changes, new texture and new splash image. Sometimes includes: new animations and visual effects. These skins are unlikely to appear often in the future, with the last deluxe tier skin released being Cottontail Vex Cottontail Vex.
Chromaskins WR Chroma Chroma Orb New texture for the champion. Often includes: texture changes for other models used by the skin, such as champion summoned units or entities that appear during emotes.[s 1]
  1. This unfortunately means that the quality of a chroma will vary based on how an individual champion's spells are implemented. A champion like Maokai Maokai (who's Sapling Toss Sapling Toss and Nature's Grasp Nature's Grasp are "units") has texture files for his spells that can be repainted by one of the Chroma artists, whereas Ezreal's Ezreal's spells are implemented using particle effects that cannot be retextured in the same way and thus the amount of work required to "simply recolour them" is beyond the scope of this price-tier.
